Hillary Clinton Accidentally Reveals Her Plans for 2020?

Former First Lady Hillary Clinton made a comment at an event in New York City which seems to confirm her intentions for 2020 – she’s running for President.

The two-time failed presidential candidate flip-flopped swiftly in the span of minutes – an effort that would make John Kerry proud – saying she would not run, admitting she’d like to, and then claiming she won’t decide until after the midterms.

Let’s put the controversy to bed right now for our readers.

She’s running.

She made the comments at a live taping of Recode Decode at New York City’s 92nd Street YMCA.

Hillary said no

Initially, the moderator at a Q&A session proposed talking about her future plans in 2020 before asking, “Do you want to run again?”

Clinton responded “no,” prompting a slew of moans from her fans and a temporary sigh of relief from the rest of America.

Hillary said yes

Hillary, being completely incapable of saying anything other than what she thinks people want her to say, immediately backtracked and made a confession.

“Well, I – well, I’d like to be president,” she said as the adoring crowd cheered. She then pivoted to talking about aspirations of a generic ‘Democrat’ president after the election in 2020.

“Look, I think, hopefully, when we have a Democrat in the Oval Office in January of 2021, there’s going to be so much work to be done.”

Clinton clearly thinks that Democrat should be herself.

After announcing she would not run, then admitting she will, Clinton followed up with an announcement that she’ll think about it after the ‘blue wave’ rolls through in 2018.

“I’m not even going to think about it until we get through this November 6th election about what’s going to happen after that,” she said.

Clinton then laid out her credentials for getting back in the White House.

“So the work would be work that I feel very well prepared for, having been in the Senate for eight years, having been a diplomat in the State Department, and it’s just gonna be a lot of heavy lifting.”

Aside from the obvious fact that she’s thinking about it when she makes such statements as “I’d like to be President,” there have been numerous other signs that Hillary will make another embarrassing reach for the highest office in the land.

Philippe Reines, a former top aide to Hillary Clinton, has already made the assertion that Hillary could be the Democrat Party’s best hope to defeat Trump in 2020. If that is the case, the resistance party is in horrible shape.

“It’s somewhere between highly unlikely and zero,” he said of her chances of running, “but it’s not zero.”

Clinton has also been prying her face back into the public consciousness, embarking on a national speaking tour with Bill.

Trump’s gives the best response to Hillary’s comments

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had the perfect response to news that Hillary might run again in 2020.

“Christmas coming early this year?” she asked.
