I am actually starting to believe that this may lead to an indictment.  I hope that FBI Director Comey stands up to the bureaucracy in this administration.  It would restore a lot of the trust that is missing in America..

The FBI has finally confirmed what has been suspected by most people for many months now – there is a formal, federal investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

According to an MSNBC report:

Why say this at all, since it was widely known to be true? Because in August in response to a judge’s direction, the State Department asked the FBI for information about what it was up to. Sorry, the FBI said at the time, we can neither confirm nor deny the existence of any investigation.

Now, in a letter dated February 2 and filed in court Monday, the FBI’s general counsel, James Baker, notes that in public statements and congressional testimony, the FBI “has acknowledged generally that it is working on matters related to former Secretary Clinton’s use of a private email server.”

While the FBI has acknowledged the investigation, they have not formally announced the targets or scope of the investigation.

While this may not seem like big news, going into a the second presidential primary where Bernie Sanders is the favorite, this could make Hillary take an even bigger hit in New Hampshire.

Watch this video report:

If Clinton really “loves” the country, she’ll step aside now and spare the country a terrible next six to nine months of turmoil, when the electorate needs to focus on vetting the next president of the U.S.
