Hillary Clinton Claims Trump Thinks It’s A ‘Good Idea’ To ‘Poison Yourself’

Trump Hillary Clinton

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claimed on Twitter that President Donald Trump thinks it’s a good idea to “poison yourself.”

“Please Don’t Poison Yourself Because Donald Trump Thinks It’s A Good Idea”

President Trump is currently coming under fire from leftists for remarks he had made regarding potential treatments for the coronavirus, as he is being accused of encouraging people to “inject” themselves with disinfectant to cure themselves of the disease.

Writing on Twitter, Clinton urged anyone who watched the President’s remarks not to “poison yourself because Donald Trump thinks it could be a good idea.”

Reckitt Benckiser, the manufactures of Lysol and Dettol bleach, issued a statement due to the “recent speculation,” i.e. the President’s comments.

“As a global leader in health and hygiene products, we must be clear that under no circumstance [emphasis their own] should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion or any other route),” the statement reads. “As with all products, our disinfectant and hygiene products should only be used as intended and in line with usage guidelines.”

The Only People Using Bleach To Cure The Coronavirus Are Liberals!

As usual, all of this is a result of completely hyperbolic fake news, and leftists twisting the words of President Trump and taking them completely out of context. Writing in Breitbart, Joel Pollak debunked this interpretation of the President’s words, noting that while he may not have been the clearest at certain points, he certainly did not encourage anybody to literally inject themselves with bleach:

In Thursday’s White House coronavirus task force briefing, Dr. Bill Bryan, leader of the Science and Technology Directorate at the Department of Homeland Security, described the results of new government research that showed that the coronavirus did not survive long in solar light, warmer temperatures, and more humid conditions. He added that disinfectants had also been effective against it. Trump, responding to that, noted that there had been discussions of testing ultraviolet light on patients, or of methods to bring light inside the body. “And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it [the virus] out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside, or almost a cleaning, cause you see it gets in the lungs.” Trump was far from a model of clarity, but he did not actually propose injecting patients with disinfectant; he deferred to “medical doctors” to figure out how to apply Dr. Bryant’s research.

The President also later clarified that he was merely being sarcastic.

“I was asking a sarcastic and a very sarcastic question to the reporters in the room about disinfectant on the inside,” he said on Friday. “That was done in the form of a sarcastic question to the reporters.”

What’s even more ironic is that the only people who are attempting to use bleach on themselves right now are the liberals and media classes themselves! In a blog post laden with buzzwords and pseudo-science, Christina Cuomo, the wife of CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, admitted that at the direction of her “doctor,” “I [took] a bath and [added] a tiny amount of bleach, and I mean a 1/4 cup of bleach which in an 80 gallon water tub is a ratio of 1:5000. Why? To combat the radiation and metals in my system and oxygenate it.”

Perhaps Clinton and the rest of the social media crowd should start directing their comments at the loony left instead!
