Leftist PBS host Tavis Smiley has been making the rounds on television playing the race card against Donald Trump, saying he doesn’t think the Republican frontrunner is someone who has the humanity, civility, and integrity to move America in the right direction.

Last night, Smiley was on with Megyn Kelly and said black people shouldn’t be expected to vote for Republicans running a “segregated campaign,” a direct shot at Trump.
“If you can’t campaign to all of America — if you’re only campaigning to one slice of America, then how do we believe that you want to be president for all of America?” Smiley asked.
That’s when Kelly called on Herman Cain! The conservative former presidential candidate responded to the comments Smiley had made, thoroughly eviscerating his claim that Trump is bad for the black community.
Cain blasted the Democrat Party, saying they “have conned black people” and “taken advantage of black people for 50 years.”
But it was the following comments that really landed on the mark, when Cain explained perfectly why conservatism benefits not just the black community, but all of America.
“All of America benefits from replacing tax code,” Cain said. “All of America benefits from enforcing immigration laws. And all of America benefits from repealing and replacing Obamacare.”

Herman Cain joined the show to react to Smiley’s comments. He strongly disagreed with Smiley’s assertion that Republicans have limited their outreach.
“The only thing that I agree with Tavis on, is the fact that the Democrats have taken advantage of black people for 50 years, and they’ve gone beyond that. They have conned black people.”
He then accused Smiley of “drinking the Kool-aid” about Trump by taking the frontrunner’s comments out of context, and then sharing it with his black audience.
“All of America benefits from replacing tax code,” Cain said. “All of America benefits from enforcing immigration laws. And all of America benefits from repealing and replacing Obamacare.”
To his credit, Smiley has taken umbrage with President Obama’s efforts in the black community as well, saying the nation’s first black president has set African-Americans back in every single economic category since he set foot in the White House.
