In one of the most unbelievable examples of media bias, the Washington Post’s idiotic cartoonist published a graphic that was intended to make fun of the daughters of Ted Cruz – and it was utterly racist.
Here’s the cartoon:
Yup. That’s Ted Cruz’s daughters, who are 5 and 7 years old, and they’re monkeys. Keep in mind that they’re part Hispanic on Ted’s side – now can you imagine the uproar if a major media outlet had done the same to Obama?
Chris Matthews would be literally running kamikaze suicide attacks on their offices.
Cruz took the high road instead and shamed them on the internet:

The cartoonist, Ann Telnaes, actually tried to defend her racist creation by posting some idiotic explanation of how organ-grinders used to entertain people on the sidewalks in Washington D.C.
Here’s some more background:
After an online furor, the editor at WaPo did take it down, and Telnaes deleted her tweet. But he didn’t even have the decency to apologize for the offensive cartoon – he just offered this reason for why it happened:
Editor’s note from Fred Hiatt: It’s generally been the policy of our editorial section to leave children out of it. I failed to look at this cartoon before it was published. I understand why Ann thought an exception to the policy was warranted in this case, but I do not agree.
Again – had this happened to Obama everyone would be denouncing them and demanding a pound of flesh in retribution.
But it just happened to a Hispanic conservative, and we all know they deserve it…. right?
What do you think? Should the editor apologize for this awful racist attack? Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
