Hannity: Sources Tell Me Comey or McCabe Paid for Anti-Trump Dossier

Fox News host Sean Hannity claims he has sources indicating the dossier used by officials to spy on Donald Trump was paid for either by former FBI Director James Comey or FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

Either would constitute a legitimate bombshell.

Correspondent Sara Carter reports that the “unverified dossier” was used by the FBI as cause “to gain approval from a secret court to monitor members of Trump’s team.”

“(The dossier) certainly played a role in obtaining the warrant,” one senior U.S. official claimed.

They also suggested that people need to start asking “whether the FBI payed anything to the source for the dossier.”

President Trump himself has pushed the theory that the dossier led to a surveillance warrant being used against him and his team.

Hannity believes it was either Comey or McCabe who paid for the discredited dossier. Carter agrees.

“I’m hearing from sources that either Comey or McCabe Paid,” Hannity said during last night’s broadcast. “Do you hear the same?”

Carter responded, “I’m hearing both stories, Sean.”

Judge Andrew Napolitano claimed in December that the FBI offered $50,000 to verify information in the dossier.

“I believe, just from examining the public sources, that the FBI offered Christopher Steele $50,000 if he could corroborate the dossier,” Napolitano stated.

Would you be surprised if James Comey or Andrew McCabe paid for the dossier, then used to monitor President Trump and members of his team? Share your thoughts below!
