Man Digs His Car Out After Snowstorm And Has His Spot Stolen… Then, THIS Happened!

After the historic winter storm along the East Coast, millions of Americans were reminded just how horrible it is to shovel snow.

It can take hours to dig your car out from the white mess. And once your car is out,  no one wants some jerk taking the spot you just cleared out with your shovel.

In Boston, one guy had ENOUGH! Look at what he did (below) after a driver stole the spot he dug out of the street. This is priceless!

He decided to put the snow back, and shared his story on Craigslist!

As his post said, “So I had a marker, and I spent a long time clearing out this spot. I even made a path from my spot to the sidewalk so I wouldn’t have to walk in the streets. According to the Mayor, if you shovel out a spot it is yours for 48 hours after the snow stops. After that it is fair game.

This guy didn’t wait 24 hours so I put all the snow back… I was nice enough to leave the passenger door accessible in case they needed to get in for an emergency… like they left an inhaler inside or something. But I think he is a total dick and got what he deserved. It was a blue and yellow Monte Carlo with New York plates.  — I hope the owner reads this.”

The poster wanted to remain anonymous for fear of retribution. He tried to save the space with an “old bookshelf” when he left for an evening shift as an Uber driver. He returned home at midnight and had nowhere to park. That’s when he took action!

Do you think the space-stealer got what he deserved? Please leave us a comment (below) and tell us what you think.

  • I had a similar experience many years ago when we had one of the bigger snowstorms in the DC area. I was one of the few, back then that had a 4WD vehicle. I went to a local gas station for gas and they only had one pump plowed out. I asked the attendant if it was OK for me to plow out another pump for him and he readily agreed. After I had pushed the snow over to the side another driver from several cars back in the line pulled into the pump where I had just plowed and pumped his gas. I had done the plowing so that I could get gas and then others could follow. I backed up far enough that I could reach the hose when he was done with it and I took my time filling my tank. By the time I got finished several cars that were behind him had got their gas and gone, so he did not gain a thing and in fact lost time. No, I did not feel bad about doing this, he deserved it as far as I am concerned.

  • He Won,
Even though he had to shovel the snow back and Im guessing it was a much more fun job then the first time, Now the ignorant person will find out just what it takes to shovel a car out after its been snowed and plowed in, I used to deal with that all the time when I lived in the city even so called good neighbors would do it to me.... thank god I now have my own driveway and dont have to deal with them any longer, I guess its just another NEW YORK VALUE coming to light LOL !!!

  • so the man shoveled twice and still had no spot. Did he really win??? No, there were just two losers. Righteous anger usually does not produce good results!
