Gun Shop Billboard Mocks the Squad as ‘Idiots’

A North Carolina gun shop has found themselves in the midst of controversy over a billboard depicting the ‘Squad’ as a bunch of “idiots.”

Cherokee Guns, located west of Charlotte, North Carolina, posted a picture of the sign on social media. It features a picture of the radical progressive group – Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley – with a caption originally reading, “The 4 Horseman Cometh.”

‘Cometh’ is crossed off with red ink, replaced with words to make the message say, “The 4 Horsemen are Idiots.”

The billboard blasts the same freshman congresswomen that President Trump suggested that, since they hate America so much, they should leave.

“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came?” Trump asked.

Below the image of the women, it reads, “Signed, the Deplorables.”

The Horsewomen

The ‘four horsemen’ label is a reference to Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) who referenced them as such … almost.

“They are destroying the Democratic Party,” Kennedy said. “I’m appalled that so many of our presidential candidates are falling all over themselves to try to agree with the four horsewomen of the Apocalypse.”

The Senator’s comedy routine wasn’t finished there.

“They think that America and its people are even more wicked now, that we are all racist and misogynistic, and evil,” Kennedy said of the ‘Squad.’

“Now they’re entitled to their opinion, they are Americans, but I’m entitled to my opinion, and I just think they’re left-wing cranks, and they’re the reason that there are directions on a shampoo bottle,” he added. “I think we should ignore them.”

Liberals Are Aghast

While the billboard message itself is accurate and hilarious, the fact that the business advertising it happens to be a gun shop has progressives crying racism and saying the sign is encouraging violence.

You know, like the time they tried blaming Sarah Palin for the Gabby Giffords shooting because she used metaphorical targets in her ad campaigns.

“Disgusting anti-government violent rhetoric from Cherokee Guns in North Carolina,” The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence said in a social media post. “Threats against members of Congress, particularly minority members are [rising] and it is driven by the president’s racial rhetoric.”

It’d be curious to see how they felt about a music video showing President Trump being shot. Or threats from the media to shoot him “to kill.”
