Grammy award-winning artist Rihanna doesn’t do many interviews these days, which means she should have left this one in the box. Yet, she had to say something to get clicks, likes or retweets to make herself feel better.
During her interview with Vogue she talked about her new album and why and why she’d never headline the Super Bowl, even though her mentor Jay-Z has made a pact with the NFL. Rihanna also answered a question about President Trump.
These interviewers try to get major stars to talk about the President and whether or not they support him. If they do, they are shunned and blackballed from the industry. Some don’t care while the majority have to protect their jobs.

She went in even harder when the topic of President Trump was raised, criticizing his responses to the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings earlier this year. While Trump called the shootings an act of “cowardice,” Rihanna tweeted that he should have labeled them “terrorism” instead.
“It is devastating,” said Rihanna. “People are being murdered by war weapons that they legally purchase. This is just not normal. That should never, ever be normal. And the fact that it’s classified as something different because of the color of their skin? It’s a slap in the face. It’s completely racist. Put an Arab man with that same weapon in that same Walmart and there is no way that Trump would sit there and address it publicly as a mental health problem.
“The most mentally ill human being in America right now seems to be the president,” she concluded. [The Independent]

She doesn’t know what she’s talking about. “War weapons”? A person with an AR-15 would be dead in minutes after stepping on a battlefield. A SEMI automatic rifle is NOT a machine gun, can someone who knows her please explain the difference?
Did You See This? Democratic Presidential Candidate Wants To Confiscate Your Guns And Throw You In Jail If You Resist
A semi-automatic weapon requires one pull of the trigger for each round fired. A machine gun, by contrast, requires only one pull of the trigger to fire dozens of rounds. A machine gun uses the recoil to expel the used cartridge and fires another round, while a semi-automatic weapon only expels the used round and requires the person to pull the trigger again to fire another round.
Also, you might want to point out that technically muskets are “weapons of war” since they were used in wars before we had modern weaponry.
If anyone feels or thinks America is a bad place, you are free to leave. Immigrants who think America is a great place continue to come here in droves.
Rihanna has made millions of America. Could she have done that in Barbados?
Bottom line. Rihanna is not important enough to make a dent in the average American decision making.
