First Lady Jill Biden’s recent “taco” comment and Vice President Kamala Harris’ perpetual ridiculous comments are providing comedy gold for those still brave enough to follow politics.
The most recent hilarity comes from Texas GOP Hispanic congressional candidate Cassy Garcia, who combined Jill Biden’s comment with Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent over-the-top political correctness.
Check out Garcia’s comment – and then watch the video of VP Harris.

Earlier this month, Jill Biden was speaking to Hispanic organization and said this: “The Latino community is as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio.”
Biden immediately came under fire from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, who posted a simple message for the First Lady on Twitter, “We are not tacos.”
Biden later apologized but Twitter was off and running. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) changed his profile picture to a taco.
Newly elected Texas Congresswoman Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX) took advantage of Biden’s comment to illustrate inflation during her husband’s administration.

There were plenty of humorous replies in response to Garcia’s tweet. It seems as though many have embraced the whole practice of “pronouns.” Many attempted to keep things culturally appropriate.
Others wanted some clarification on the ta/co pronoun status.
Others preferred to keep their pronouns in the food category.

Democrats may not have any idea just how under water with Hispanic voters they are. A recent Quinnipiac poll showed that just 19% of Hispanics approve of Joe Biden’s job performance, 70% disapprove. Being called tacos didn’t help the Democrats with Hispanics.
And while Democrats like to portray Hispanics as single issue voters, that issue being immigration, they are equally concerned about the economy, foreign policy, gun violence, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
For Hispanics, the soaring cost of gas and food is front and center, as with all other Americans. In places like Florida and Texas, Hispanic GOP candidates are running for office, and they are winning.
In Texas, especially along the U.S. southern border, it is candidates like Cassy Garcia and others who have very good chances of winning in November. Garcia will face off against long time incumbent Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) to represent a district that runs along the southern border where the population is overwhelmingly Hispanic.
After Mayra Flores’ win last month, Garcia had a warning for Democrats, “the red wave is here.”
