Global News Org Tweets Trump was SHOT During Inauguration

Along with the inauguration of Donald J. Trump, we now live in an age of “fake news” and excessive hacking. The media wants you, the American people, to believe Russia “hacked the election” to help Trump win, while most of us watched the mainstream media cover-up Hillary Clinton’s crooked criminal tracks.

When major news organizations tweet out something that is irregular or unprofessional, their typical excuse is that they were hacked, and they are going to investigate the situation. Most Americans are usually willing to accept that excuse and let it go. I’m not to that point yet, and you’ll see why in a second.

From Washington Times:

President Donald Trump wasn’t shot by a gunman during his swearing-in ceremony Friday, contrary to “breaking news” reported by a BBC Twitter account.

“Breaking News: President Trump is injured in arm by gunfire #Inauguration,” BBC Northampton tweeted to its nearly 40,000 Twitter followers Friday.

The erroneous claim was deleted within minutes, but not before being widely shared on social media by skeptical Twitter users wary of the report.

Indeed, the broadcaster stated afterwards that the claim was the handiwork of a hacker who had apparently breached the BBC Northampton Twitter account.

“Apologies to anyone who saw an unusual tweet from our account this morning. We do appear to have been hacked and we are looking into how,” BBC Northampton said in a tweet after reclaiming the account.

“We are investigating and taking steps to ensure this does not happen again,” a spokesperson said, as reported by the BBC.

To me, it doesn’t make sense for a hacker just to deliver one or two tweets and then give access back to the original owner right away. In my mind, something is foul about the story.

If a hacker takes control of an account, how do you gain access back in a few minutes? The story said the erroneous claim was deleted within minutes. What gives?

I know they won’t update anyone on their investigation, or at least I’m not looking forward to it, but I’ll stick by my convictions that it was somebody from the BBC who wanted to be a comedian.

What do you think about the story? Do you think somebody intentionally tweeted the fake story that Trump had been shot? Share the story on your Facebook or Twitter timeline and add your comments below.
