Many people would consider Newt Gingrich to be part of the political establishment in Washington, but he’s sure not acting like it.
Gingrich hammered establishment Republicans for not getting behind either of the two current Republican frontrunners for President, Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.
And he made no bones about anybody who doesn’t support these two true conservative candidates – either you’re with them or you’re trying to help Hillary Clinton get elected.
“Let’s be honest, if you want to help elect Hillary Clinton, then help elect Hillary Clinton and a radical Supreme Court, but don’t give us any pious bologna that you’re gonna be for some virtuous middle way,” Gingrich said.
“There is no middle ground here,” he claimed. “You’re either for the Republican nominee, whether it’s Trump or Cruz, or you’re for the election of Hillary Clinton.

Establishment Republicans are growing increasingly concerned about the enduring dominance of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz is reaching new heights. Sources say that Mitt Romney, in private conversations with several former political aides, has expressed rising frustration about Trump’s prolonged lead in polls and has argued that the real-estate mogul could inflict lasting damage on the party’s brand. Party officials are worried that a Trump or Cruz nomination will damage Republican candidates in down-ballot races, especially those residing in moderate states and districts.
