Ghislaine Maxwell Denied Bail: Epstein Girlfriend Deemed ‘Substantial Flight Risk’

Ghislaine Maxwell, the alleged madam of the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, has been denied bail, with a judge deeming her to be a “substantial flight risk.”

Maxwell Has Been Charged With A Litany of Heinous Crimes

Maxwell is currently being held in prison, charged with multiple sex trafficking and sexual assault offenses, along with two counts of perjury. It is alleged that not only did she provide underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein to assault and rape, but that she participated in the abuse herself.

She was arrested at her New Hampshire address at the start of the month by multiple FBI agents. Maxwell applied for bail and home confinement, but this was massively resisted by prosecutors. They argued that given her international connections and multiple passports, and her links to powerful people, she would flee the country at the first given opportunity.

“There will be no trial for the victims if the defendant is afforded the opportunity to flee the jurisdiction, and there is every reason to think that is exactly what she will do if she is released,” the prosecutors argued in court filing.

New York Judge Alison Nathan agreed with the prosecution team, and denied her request, which included serving her pre-trial imprisonment at a luxury Manhattan hotel. Maxwell is currently being denied the usual luxury she is used to, as she is even being forced to wear paper clothes because she is seen to be a significant suicide risk.

Epstein allegedly killed himself in August of last year, although there are very strong doubts that this was actually the case. Speaking from a personal assessment of his case, I think there is absolutely no way he actually did it. Steven Crowder, a conservative comedian, last year attempted to “kill himself” in the exact same way it was claimed Epstein did, and found it practically impossible to do so.

Her trial date is set for July 2021.
