The world is turning on the real-life Dr. Evil; multi-billionaire George Soros. Even his country of origin, Hungary, has turned sour on Soros’ meddling in foreign affairs, or in this rare case, domestic. Back in February, a “Stop Soros” bill was submitted to parliament that would “ban non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that support migration and pose a ‘national security risk.’” It also would impose a 25 percent tax on foreign donations to NGOs that back migration in Hungary and ended up passing. (RELATED: Hungary Succeeds in Kicking Out George Soros).

The bill was designed to thwart Soros since he’s the primary person funding pro-migrant (a.k.a. illegal immigrant) efforts in the country. Hungary has taken a Trumpian solution to their own illegal immigrant problem and constructed a border wall, which has reduced illegal immigration into Hungary by over 99%. Clearly, their policies in combating illegal immigration worked, and they have no interest in Soros’ interference. (RELATED: How Hungary Cut Illegal Immigration by 99%).

Trump is President, Soros got kicked out of his home country, and Europe is seeing a renewed surge in right-wing populism. What’s a Leftist like Soros to do?

In a recent interview with the Washington Post, Soros complained that “everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong.” Soros said he never could’ve predicted the rise of Trump, who he claimed “is willing to destroy the world.” He also added that he believes Trump is a “narcissist” who “considers himself all-powerful.” That last insult is a bit ironic coming from Soros.

“The bigger the danger, the bigger the threat, the more I feel engaged to confront it,” Soros said. “So in that sense, I redouble my efforts.” Speaking of those efforts, Soros plans to spend $15 million on the 2018 races. On a positive note, that’s only a fraction of the $700+ million total raised towards the 2018 midterms. (RELATED: CNN Issues Major Warning for Democrats Ahead of Midterms).

At this stage, it’s looking like things will continue to go wrong for Soros. At best, Democrats may be able to take a microscopic lead in the House of Representatives after the midterms, but no analysts see any path for Democrats to take back the Senate. Unfortunately for Soros, it’s looking like everything that could possibly go wrong, will continue to go wrong.

Poor guy.
