Breaking news this afternoon with a report that three police officers have been shot in a Georgia suburb.

Channel 2 Action News has learned that one Locust Grove officer, two Henry County Sheriff’s Deputies were shot Friday morning.
The shooting happened at the Hawthorne at Linden Park on 1260 St. Francis Court in Locust Grove.
Thankfully, the suspect has been shot and killed.

Police have given the all-clear on the area now.
With the situation under control, now is the time to pray for the officers who were shot. They will need plenty of time to recover from their injuries.
