President Bush Just Spent His Birthday In The BEST Way Possible!

Former president George W. Bush, a man whose admiration for our troops and veterans knows no bounds, just spent his 70th birthday doing exactly as you’d expect – biking with wounded warriors.

Bush spent the day mountain biking with vets who have participated with him in past “Team 43” events. The Team 43 effort is a series of programs that support veterans in their transition to civilian life.

It has to be refreshing for our veterans to be shown how important they are by a president who actually cares about their well-being.

This is incredible!

It’s the big 7-0 for W!

Former President George W. Bush celebrated his 70th birthday by being active with some wounded warriors.

The 43rd U.S. president spent the day mountain biking with veterans who participated in previous “Team 43” events.

A picture posted to Bush’s Instagram with one of the participants was captioned “Chris Self, gentleman-soldier, showing respect for his elders in black tie. #43turns70.”

President Bush’s daughter also posted a picture on social media about her Dad’s work with the wounded warriors.

Recently, Bush helped open the Invictus Games with Prince Harry, an international Paralympic-style multi-sport event featuring over 500 wounded veterans.

Bush said the games are an important reminder that some of our veterans are returning home with serious injuries, some that can be seen with the naked eye and some that cannot.

The president added that “I intend to use whatever capabilities I have to get them (veterans) the help they need.”

Even on his birthday.

Thank you, Mr. President!
