Trump Nominee Reveals Liberals Sent White Powder to His Wife

Andrew Puzder, President Trump’s former nominee for Labor Secretary who was eventually forced to withdraw his nomination, revealed that the onslaught of attacks from the far-left went well beyond the normal level of vitriol you’d expect, and veered into a level on par with terrorism.

The unhinged left, ladies and gentleman.

During a radio interview with Hugh Hewitt, Puzder claimed that he and his family were subject to serious threats, including having packages delivered to their home that contained a white powder.

“There was an envelope left at our house addressed to my wife that had white powder in it, a pink piece of paper with ‘Trump’ written on it, and here, obviously, the white powder was in a plastic bag, but you open the envelope and a little powder came out,” Puzder explained.

Puzder and his wife ended up having the FBI and hazmat crews dispatched to their home.

Via Free Beacon:

Fast food executive and former Labor Secretary nominee Andy Puzder said that opposition groups threatened his family during the confirmation process.

Puzder, who withdrew his nomination on the eve of his Senate hearing, told radio host Hugh Hewitt on Monday morning that he and his wife were subjected to serious threats after President Trump tapped him to lead the Department of Labor in December.

Puzder said he received packages and letters that went beyond typical hate mail or opposition post cards distributed by left-wing groups and unions. A hazmat crew and FBI officials arrived at his Franklin, Tennessee home to retrieve and analyze a package containing white powder that his wife had opened, he said.

The compassionate and caring liberals you’ve heard so much about in the media tried to influence a Trump nominee by committing a terrorist threat to his wife.

In addition to the powder threat, Puzder said “there was a paper doll with a noose around its neck and it was addressed to my wife.”

The attacks on his wife, Puzder said “shows the cowardice of these people.”

The cowardice and the level of danger some of President Trump’s cabinet members and nominees and their families are subject to.

These are dangerous times.
