Former NSA and CIA Director Michael Hayden tweeted that it would be a “good idea” to send unvaccinated Trump supporters to Afghanistan.
Hayden made the comment in response to a random Twitter user with just 15 followers who suggested, “Can we send the MAGA wearing unvaxxed to Afghanistan, no use sending that plane back empty?”
The former CIA head retweeted the question and added, “Good idea.”
Hayden led the NSA under President Bill Clinton, and the CIA under President George W. Bush.
The exchange took place following another in which Newsmax host Steve Cortes asked his followers if they would want a plane full of unvetted refugees from Afghanistan landing in their town.
“You bet,” Hayden replied.
The airport in Kabul has been a scene of chaos since President Biden fumbled the withdrawal of American troops, allowing the Taliban to take over Afghanistan in a matter of days.
The airport has been the site of several deaths.
Michael Hayden was already under fire for another message he shared on Twitter last week, comparing Trump supporters to the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Hayden, a retired US Air Force four-star general, shared a split image showing Islamic militants waving guns and flags at the top and pickup trucks featuring American flags and Trump 2020 flags below.
The top image was captioned, “Their Taliban,” while the bottom read, “Our Taliban.”
Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson slammed Hayden for his disdain for Americans who support the former President, pointing to the tweet suggesting it would be a “good idea” to send them to Afghanistan.
“That’s how contemptuous they feel about you,” Carlson explained.
“Shut up and fetch another glass of Riesling, serf,” he mockingly spoke as Hayden. “And be sure not to breathe on me, or you’ll be deported.”
Aside from suggesting Republican voters be shipped off to Afghanistan, former CIA Director Michael Hayden’s Twitter feed of late looks more like someone angling for a job at CNN than anybody with a shred of dignity.
In another tweet last week he mocked Americans who choose not to get the vaccine by sharing a tweet quoting the movie ‘The Sixth Sense.’
During the same week, Hayden responded to a statement by Trump which explained the rather rudimentary concept that all civilians should have been withdrawn safely from Afghanistan before the military was.
The man who served as CIA Director under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama offered this insight: “Really. He’s an asshole. Pure and simple.”
In 2018, Hayden equated border policies under the Trump administration to Nazi concentration camps.
“I know we’re not Nazi Germany, alright. But there is a commonality there,” he told CNN. “We have standards we have to live up to.”
The former head of the CIA in America is little more than an AOC wannabe. Think about that.
Bloomberg News in 2014 debated whether or not Hayden is the “nation’s biggest liar” or an “unassailable patriot” and suggested he may have lied to Congress during his 2007 testimony about the CIA’s ‘enhanced interrogation program.
Hayden is also a fierce defender of the NSA’s spying programs, which were famously uncovered by Edward Snowden during the Obama administration.
Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
