Federal prosecutors are reportedly looking into “altered” election documents tied to Florida Democrats, a move that is lending legitimacy to the notion that there is election tampering going on in Florida.
Florida recount ordered
The midterm elections for both U.S. Senate and the Florida governorship are still hotly contested. The results were so close, the Florida Secretary of State has ordered a mandatory recount in both races:
Currently, Rep. Ron DeSantis is the assumed winner of the Florida governorship, beating out Andrew Gillum, while current Governor Rick Scott has, as of right now, beaten incumbent Senator Bill Nelson.
Broward County has a history of corruption
Much of the controversy stemming out of Florida comes from one county: Broward. Election officials in Broward County are notoriously sloppy and inept at their jobs. Brenda Snipes, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections, has a nasty history of ballot-destruction and tampering. (RELATED: Rubio Warns: Dems Are Actively Trying To Steal The Florida Election.)
In recent days, more questionable activity has been found in Broward County, leading to speculation that Snipes and her Democrat cronies are trying to rig the process. (RELATED: Undercover Video Captures Broward County Ballots Being Transferred in Private Car.)
President Trump has already directed federal law enforcement to look into any fraud or discrepancies in the recounting process. (RELATED: Trump: Law Enforcement Looking Into Florida Election Fraud.)
Now it looks like federal prosecutors have zeroed in on questionable ballots. These ballots are linked to the Florida Democratic Party.

The Florida Department of State last week asked federal prosecutors to investigate dates that were changed on official state election documents, the first voting “irregularities” it has flagged in the wake of the 2018 elections.
The concerns, which the department says can be tied to the Florida Democratic Party, center around date changes on forms used to fix vote-by-mail ballots sent with incorrect or missing information. Known as “cure affidavits,” those documents used to fix mail ballots were due no later than 5 p.m. on Nov. 5 — the day before the election. But affidavits released on Tuesday by the DOS show that documents from four different counties said the ballots could be returned by 5 p.m. on Thursday, which is not accurate.

Given the stakes in these recounts – a valuable Senate seat and the Florida governorship – it’s imperative that federal officials oversee a fair process. Broward County has proven to be untrustworthy when it comes to holding transparent elections.
Trump was right to send in federal officials. The finding of “altered” ballots shows that oversight is needed.
