New text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and his girlfriend, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, show the officials didn’t want to appear too tough on Hillary Clinton during their investigation into her private email server, for fear that she might be the next president of the United States.
The messages, part of a batch of missing texts from a five-month time frame that were previously thought lost, show what Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) describes as a “manifest bias” from the high-ranking duo.
Strzok, a key player in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s original Russia probe, had to be ‘reassigned’ after sending the biased messages to Page.
“She might be our next president,” Page wrote regarding officials involved in the Clinton investigation. “The last thing you need us going in there loaded for bear.”
“You think she’s going to remember or care that it was more doj than fbi?” she added.
“Agreed,” Strzok wrote in reply. “I called Bill and relayed what we discussed.”

Well, they certainly didn’t ‘go in there loaded for bear.’ Previous messages seem to indicate that Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch had been coordinating with former FBI Director James Comey, even suggesting she knew in advance that he would decline to press charges against Clinton. And that was before he had even interviewed the former Secretary of State.
As then-AG Lynch announced she’ll accept whatever FBI recommends on charges in Hillary email probe, FBI insider Page texted her alleged boyfriend, FBI official Strzok: “And yeah, it’s a real profile in couragw [sic], since she knows no charges will be brought.”

Rep. Gowdy appeared with Fox News host Tucker Carlson and blasted the FBI officials and their clear and unvarnished bias for Clinton.
“It’s clear that they did not want her charged, they wanted her to be the president of the United States, they really, really didn’t want Donald Trump to be the president of the United States, and they concede throughout these texts that they did things in this investigation differently from any other investigation that they were part of,” Gowdy said.

Gowdy added that he finds it difficult to comprehend why his colleagues on the left are so unwilling to concede the fix was in for Clinton.
“I don’t know why the left is straining to minimize the manifest bias that was exhibited by these agents,” he said. “The fix was in, unfortunately before they (FBI) even interviewed the target of the investigation.”
