It’s about time we hear from the rank and file FBI officers.
All throughout Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump campaign ties to Russia, we’ve heard about the dirty deeds conducted by Obama’s FBI. We know the Bureau lied about when it began investigating the campaign for foreign interference. We know James Comey, as FBI director, used a secret warrant process to obtain information about the Trump campaign. Most alarming, we know the FBI had an undercover spy on the campaign, feeding the Bureau information. Not only that, but there are rumors out there that the FBI may have had two spies on the political campaign of a private citizen, which raises even more questions. Now Republican lawmakers are raising the possibility of a second special counsel who would be appointed to investigate exactly what the FBI did during the 2016 campaign. And why not? All indicators suggest that Comey, if not willfully malevolent, demonstrated extreme incompetence. (RELATED: GOP Leaders Want Special Counsel to Investigate Spying on Trump).
It’s a good thing Republican lawmakers are pushing for another investigation so hard because it looks like the real men and women of the FBI – not the politically-motivated top brass – want a chance to speak their story about what exactly happened during 2016.
Kerry Pickett of the Daily Caller reports:
Many agents in the FBI want Congress to subpoena them so they can reveal problems caused by former FBI Director James Comey and former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, three people in direct contact with active field agents tell TheDC.
“There are agents all over this country who love the bureau and are sickened by [James] Comey’s behavior and [Andrew] McCabe and [Eric] Holder and [Loretta] Lynch and the thugs like [John] Brennan–who despise the fact that the bureau was used as a tool of political intelligence by the Obama administration thugs,” former federal prosecutor Joe DiGenova told The Daily Caller Tuesday. “They are just waiting for a chance to come forward and testify.”

We can only imagine what these agents will reveal about their superiors.
One of the things stressed by many Republican officials during the unraveling of the Mueller probe is that the everyday agents of the FBI shouldn’t be blamed. They didn’t make the decisions Comey did. They didn’t have their hands on the lever of the Bureau.
This is good to remember as we get closer to uncovering the whole truth about what Obama’s FBI did during the election.
