Famed Leftist Icon Noam Chomsky Suggests Unvaccinated Americans Be ‘Isolated’

Far-Left Icon Noam Chomsky Says That Unvaccinated Americans Should Be ‘Isolated’

Famed MIT linguist professor and icon of the far-left, Noam Chomsky, believes people who refuse vaccines should be “isolated” from society to protect others.

92-year-old Chomsky made his comments on the “Theories of Everything” podcast with host Curt Jaimungal.

Some took serious offense to the comments coming from “the father of modern linguistics”.

Noam Chomsky: ‘People who refuse to accept vaccines… insist that they be isolated’

Chomsky was asked about how people who refuse to get vaccinated should be handled or treated.

Chomsky replied, “People who refuse to accept vaccines, I think the right response for them is not to force them to, but rather to insist that they be isolated.”

“If people decide, ‘I am willing to be a danger to the community by refusing to vaccinate,’ they should say then, ‘Well, I also have the decency to isolate myself. I don’t want a vaccine, but I don’t have the right to run around harming people.’ That should be a convention,” Chomsky added.

“Enforcing is a different question. It should be understood. And we should try to get it to be understood,” the 92-year-old leftist icon said.

Chomsky added, “If it really reaches the point where they are severely endangering people, then of course you have to do something about it.”

Chomsky compares COVID-19 and Smallpox vaccine

The professor then compared those who refuse vaccinations for COVID-19 to those who refused to get the smallpox vaccine in the past.

Chomsky concluded, “So I think we should first attempt to establish conventions that will be understandable by people with some moral capacity to try to convince them that it’s your rights to refuse to get a vaccine, but then it is your responsibility to isolate yourself so you don’t harm others.”

This falls in stark contrast to comments made by Noam Chomsky early in the pandemic.

In April 2020, Chomsky blamed the Covid pandemic on the “gang” of politicians in Washington, DC.

In April 2020 he blamed Covid pandemic on the U.S. government

“The United States is a total catastrophe because of the gang that’s running Washington,” Chomsky said at the time.

“They know how to blame everybody in the world except themselves, and they are responsible for the catastrophe,” he added. “The US is now the epicentre of the crisis. It’s the only country that is so dysfunctional that it cannot even provide data to the World Health Organization on deaths and infections.”

What a difference an administration change can make – right, Noam?
