Exposed: New York Times Editor Displays Anti-Semitic Tweets on His Social Media

The individual is still apparently working for the left-leaning publication

Outrageous.

An individual still employed by The New York Times as of this writing, at least, on Thursday morning has been shown to have shared anti-Semitic comments on his Twitter feed.

As Breitbart News revealed in its piece on Thursday morning about this issue, one tweet written and shared by politics editor Tom Wright-Piersanti — a tweet of his that is still public as of now — is from the early morning hours of New Year’s Day in 2010.

That’s when he admitted he is anti-Semitic but announced that his New Year’s resolution that year was to be less anti-Semitic.

Yet the tweet’s actual content clearly mocks Jewish people.

“I was going to say ‘Crappy Jew Year,’ but one of my resolutions is to be less anti-Semitic,” Wright-Piersanti wrote on Jan. 1, 2010, at 9:35 a.m., as readers can see below and as the outlet reported. “So … HAPPY Jew Year. You Jews.”

Very disheartening.

But that’s not all.

Another tweet from Wright-Piersanti is from the evening of Dec. 15, 2009.

It includes a photo of a car with what looks like a Menorah on the roof, as Breitbart also reported exclusively.

The Menorah is used by Jewish people to celebrate the holiday of Hanukkah.

Wright-Piersanti commented in his tweet, “Who called the Jew-police?”

“Breitbart News has not been able to determine what Wright meant by ‘the Jew-police,’ and The New York Times has not yet responded to requests for comment on this matter,” the outlet noted.

Here’s why all of this is so disturbing right now.

“The revelation that a politics editor in The Times newsroom — who has spent years there working on countless stories — has had this ant-Semitic content on his Twitter feed, still publicly available, for all the years he has worked there and for several years prior to The Times hiring him comes amid a raft of other problems with anti-Semitism from the Left and from The Times in particular,” Breitbart declared. “It also comes as The Times’ editorial board lectured the president on anti-Semitism in an editorial published Wednesday evening.”

That editorial said, in part, “In the bloody history of modern anti-Semitism, one of the most common justifications for violence is the inflammatory canard that the loyalty of Jewish citizens is suspect … President Trump has repeatedly employed that libel in recent days as part of a verbal assault on the Democratic Party … Mr. Trump, surreally, is employing [that language] in an effort to win Jewish votes.”

Outrage about The New York Times editor’s anti-Semitic comments is pouring out this morning.

Here are just a few of the reactions — please share your own thoughts below.
