New Poll Shows Majority of Europe Supports Trump’s Refugee Ban

During Barack Obama’s final year in office, 10,000 refugees from Syria were brought into the United States. Hillary Clinton had plans to up that number to over 50,000, while President Donald Trump wanted to shut down our nation’s refugee resettlement program altogether.

Even if President Hillary had her way, refugee resettlement rates in America still wouldn’t be anywhere close to the resettlement rates in Europe. Just see the statistics for admissions in 2015 alone for reference:

So you’d think, with nations in Europe welcoming in refugees by the millions, they sure must be pro-refugee, right?

Wrong. Public opinion on refugee resettlement started off positive – then crashed like a North Korean rocket once the consequences became apparent, whether they be the rise in crime (particularly of the sexual nature), explosion in costs of supporting the welfare state (thanks to mass unemployment among refugees), and terrorist attacks on a weekly basis.

In light of that, it’s no surprise that Donald Trump’s refugee ban is even more popular in Europe than it is over here in America!

When Theresa May failed to immediately condemn US President Donald Trump’s immigration ban, she was lambasted by politicians and pundits.

Thousands of people protested in front of 10 Downing Street against a Trump state visit and the prime minister was branded “Theresa the Appeaser”  — a nod to Neville Chamberlain’s appeasement policy toward Hitler in the 1930s.

But a new survey by Chatham House has found that there is plenty of sympathy for Trump’s ban in Europe.

Here were the results in response to the question “All further migration from majority Muslim countries should be stopped.”

In summary:

  • Overall, 55% of the population from those ten countries agreed with the statement and 20% disagreed.
  • In the UK, 47% agreed, 30% neither agreed nor disagreed, and 23% disagreed.
  • Spain is the country on the list with the least people agreeing with the statement (41%) and the most people disagreeing (32%) .
  • Poland is the country where most people agreed with the statement (71%). Only 9% disagreed.

Those who’ve borne most of the costs of the refugee crisis are second guessing whether or not it was worth it – and I’ll take their word over that of the bleeding heart liberals in our country.

Share this story to show people the truth about letting refugees into our country!

  • Get out and stay out. Who would want these people in their mall who would just as soon stab you as look at you.

  • I'm in favor of sending all UN-Vetted Muslims back to where they came from. Several States have tried to appease these Muslims and Bow down to the demands of CAIR.Org CAIR.ORG has stated that its their goal to take over America for Alla. The do not follow our laws, the demand everything is to be given to them. They don't want to work. Liberals Love them and they Love Sharia law and in some Liberal States they have allowed it, even when its illegal in the United States Since 1952. CAIR is a member of Muslim Brotherhood, a Terrorist Org. CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood should be ban from American soiu=l and sent back to where they came from.

  • My wife is originally from England. Her and her late husband applied to come here legally and had to show financial abillity and start a business to be allowed in. Why so hard for our friends and so easy for our enemies? Somethings wrong with our immigration policies. As a matter of fact I think it's time to stop all immigration except for those that can offer something to our nation in the way of creating jobs rather than taking them or needing welfare.

  • UK and Italy are unfathomable.

    Belgium is deeply gratifying.

Sweden is not polled. You know there's a huge difference between Germany accepting a million and Sweden accepting 200 thousand.

Poland incidentally already has accepted 1.2 million Ukrainian refugees. Hasn't it done its share?

  • President trump pulled the United States back from the precipice of disaster that bho was inflicting on America: the survival of western civilization depends on his efforts to save America.
