Eric Holder’s Former AG Staffer: Eric Holder Was More Transparent than Jeff Sessions

Matthew Miller, an MSNBC legal analyst and a former staffer at the Department of Justice under Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder, had the audacity to criticize current AG Jeff Sessions for not answering questions during Wednesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee meeting. On top of that, Miller implied that Holder faced all questions from Congress.

Miller said that Sessions’s attitude was bizarre and inappropriate because he didn’t want to answer certain questions, which showed a form of contempt.

Miller went on to criticize Sessions for not discussing the details of his private conversations with President Trump. To top off the afternoon interview, Miller used Holder as a beacon of truth and transparency as an example:

“When I worked for Attorney General Holder, he used to testify before this committee once a year. And Senator Sessions would ask him tough questions and would get very incensed if you didn’t answer what he wanted to hear. And Chuck Grassley is probably the most bullish in Congress on forcing witnesses to answer his questions. You hear him complain about questions and letters not answered, but they’re giving the Attorney General a complete pass.”

Let’s come back to reality. Holder was the first attorney general to ever be held in contempt of Congress due to his refusal to hand documents over to Congress regarding the Fast and Furious scandal.

Watch the interview here:

Instead of MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle bringing up/pointing out Holder’s contempt, she asked Miller what he wanted to hear from Sessions. Here’s what he answered:

“I guess I would expect a little bit of intellectual consistency and intellectual honesty. Maybe that’s too much to ask.”

My friends, this is why I do not watch MSNBC and I try to stay away from the mainstream media networks. Not only because of the biased reporting but their unwillingness to ask the follow-up questions and call out bogus schemes like this.
