It looks like Eric Holder is inching closer to running for president in 2020. One could even say that he’s moving faster and more furiously toward a final decision.
Last month, we reported that Holder was floating the idea of a run, mentioning it after he was asked a question at a breakfast discussion sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor.
Former Attorney General @EricHolder on possibly running for office: “I think I’ll make a decision by the end of the year about whether or not there’s another chapter in my government service.” https://t.co/DWRjKiqy2R pic.twitter.com/GABM4kSPjq

Now, it looks like Holder has taken a step closer to really jumping in the race. During a recent interview session, he was asked why he thinks he’d make a good candidate. Here was his answer, via the Daily Wire:
Because I care a great deal about this country. I’ve spent the vast majority of my professional life in public service. I think I’ve got ideas that I hope would resonate with the American people. I think I’ve got the guts to potentially do the things that I think the next president would have to do.
Take a look below:
Well, yes, Mr. Holder. In a bizarre universe, I guess it’s fair to say that you indeed have “guts.” After all, it takes guts to sell guns and ammunition to Mexican narcos. It takes guts to ignore blatant political discrimination committed by the IRS. It takes guts to illegally spy on a Fox News journalist.
And lastly, it takes guts to be a craven, feckless, pathetic excuse for an attorney general. But that’s our Eric Holder, Obama’s “wingman” and partner in crime.
Thank heavens Holder is no longer a part of our government.
But do you think he’ll run for president in 2020? Will he able to take on President Trump?
