Elon Musk slammed neoconservative ‘Never Trump’ Republican David Frum as a “hypocritical megadouche” after the Atlantic reporter scolded those comparing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to Hitler – despite the fact that Frum made comparisons of Donald Trump to Hitler for years.
Musk over the weekend replied to a column by the Post Millenial which addressed Frum’s comments on Twitter.
The exchange began when the Tesla CEO tweeted an ill-advised meme comparing Trudeau’s recent deplorable actions in forcefully cracking down on protesters to Hitler. He would eventually delete the meme.
The former George W. Bush speechwriter of “Axis of Evil” and Iraq War fame wasn’t happy with Musk.
“If you’re comparing Justin Trudeau to [Adolf] Hitler,” Frum criticized, “well congratulations to you on leading a life so safe, so pleasant, with such abundant meals and comfortable beds that you have lost the ability even to *imagine* what fear, persecution, suffering, and pain would feel like.”
But Frum’s own history betrays him. In 2020 he posted images comparing a pro-Trump event to a Nazi rally, writing, “What was advertised … what was delivered.”

Elon Musk Slams David Frum
In addition to the aforementioned comparison, David Frum wrote a column in 2021 suggesting support for then-President Donald Trump represented fascism.
He added a wink and a nod that he had long warned against making a comparison to Nazi Germany.
Through the Trump years, it seemed sensible to eschew comparisons to the worst passages of history. I repeated over and over again a warning against too-easy use of the F-word, fascism: “There are a lot of stops on the train line to bad before you get to Hitler Station.”
Frum then repeatedly used the ‘f-word (fascism)’ in describing Trump supporters.

Elon Musk noted the hypocrisy in a simple two-word response to Frum.
“Hypocritical megadouche!” he tweeted.

Red-Pilled Musk?
As is typical in leftist media, David Frum couldn’t bear to take the loss. Elon Musk pointed out that he is a “hypocritical megadouche,” which has been proven through his own words.
The Atlantic reporter somehow compared his exchange with Musk to “female colleagues” who experience online harassment when prominent individuals criticize them online.
… when trolled online – and it’s a very striking contrast. It’s not just a casual impression, there’s serious empirical research into the contrast. https://t.co/rXW8CNWXKT pic.twitter.com/6J21VqnGjY

He then suggested followers look into buying Ford products.

Musk has made quite an impression of late going after the liberal media and prominent Democrat politicians.
He blasted Senator Elizabeth Warren as “Senator Karen” after she accused him of not paying taxes and essentially being a “freeloader.”
“You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason,” Musk shot back. “Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen.”

His spat with Warren isn’t the first time Musk has appeared to be “red-pilled,” going after Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) recently.
“We must demand that the extremely wealthy pay their fair share. Period,” Sanders tweeted.
“I keep forgetting that you’re still alive,” Musk shot back.

Musk defended the ‘Freedom Convoy’ protesting in Canada earlier this month, slamming GoFundMe for removing the trucker fundraising page and refunding the donations even as they continue to host fundraisers for criminals associated with BLM.
“Double standard?” he asked.
Double standards are a requirement for membership in the mainstream media and the anti-Trump “resistance.”
