Liberals and socialists are always harping about the so-called “gender pay gap.” Their theory is that women end up getting paid 30% less than their male counterparts for no other reason than men want to keep women down.
Obviously, this is absurd and flies in the face of basic economics. But more importantly, the two biggest proponents of this lie are the biggest hypocrites.
While spouting the gender wage gap lie endlessly on the campaign trail, Hillary Clinton’s campaign secretly worried about the dark secret at the Clinton Foundation: men were getting paid way more than women:
This pay gap was so wide that the Clinton campaign worried that the “huge discrepancies” would be noticed by journalists, according to internal Clinton campaign emails exposed by WikiLeaks.
The stark numbers come from the foundation’s public 990 tax forms for the year 2014, which list the highest-paid employees. The Clinton Foundation identifies its top leaders, all executives with titles like CEO, director or senior adviser.
That list included four women and nine men. The men averaged $291,000 in total pay. The women averaged $210,000. Many of the men clearly outranked the women in the leadership team. The women earned 72 cents for every dollar a male executive made on average.
That’s worse than the national average Clinton cites in her “equal pay for equal work” speeches. The national average is 79 cents on the dollar.
Shocking right?
Then of course there’s Wall Street stooge “Goofy Liz” Warren. She, more than anyone else, pushes the gender wage gap lie. She pretends to be some kind of fighter for truth and justice. But lo and behold… she’s oppressing women too!
In fact, she pays women so much less than men, the disparity is much larger than the “77%” figure touted by liberals. Can you believe the shameless bigotry?
The gender pay gap in Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D., Mass.) office is nearly 10 percent wider than the national average, meaning women in the Massachusetts Democrat’s office will have to wait longer than most women across the country to recognize Equal Pay Day.
…
However, women working for Warren were paid just 71 cents for every dollar paid to men during the 2016 fiscal year, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis.
The median annual earnings for women staffers, $52,750, was more than $20,000 less than the median annual earnings for men, $73,750, according to the analysis of publicly available Senate data.
As always, it turns out that the liberal talking points are just ignorant red-meat for their base. The “gender wage gap” doesn’t mean women get paid less than men for doing the exact same job and creating an equal amount of value. It means the bean counters end up comparing women with gender studies degrees in low-paying jobs to men with MBAs running massive companies. Put simply, it’s just a lie.
As anyone who understands basic economics knows, if a company could hire women to do the same jobs and who would be just as productive as men in those jobs – while saving 30% in costs – they would only employ women. After all, private companies are so greedy they’ll do anything for profits, right?
Watch this video of Goofy Liz rambling incoherently about the wage gap:
Now, remind yourself that she pays women less!
Thankfully, she’s not getting away with it. These people know the score:
