She’s on the warpath, folks.
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, responding to an explosive op-ed from a ‘senior official’ in the White House claiming President Trump may be unfit for office, suggested it may be time to use the 25th Amendment to remove him from office.
“If senior administration officials think the President of the United States is not able to do his job, then they should invoke the 25th Amendment,” Warren told CNN.
The 25th Amendment is a constitutional provision allowing for the removal of the President should he be deemed medically, or as Democrats are hoping, mentally unfit.
It’s pure fantasy on their part and may be the only conceivable means to rid themselves of Trump, as there is little hope they can do it at the ballot box.

“The Constitution provides for a procedure whenever the Vice President and senior officials think the President can’t do his job,” Warren added.
“It does not provide that senior officials go around the President — take documents off his desk, write anonymous op-eds … Everyone of these officials have sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States. It’s time for them to do their job.”
Hey, just curious, can a public official be removed from office for being so mentally unfit that they had to make up their Native American heritage to succeed in life? Maybe if you’re calling the President unfit, pot, you should consider meeting the kettle.
If senior officials believe the president is unfit, they should stop hiding behind anonymous op-eds and leaking info to Bob Woodward, and do what the Constitution demands they do: invoke the 25th Amendment and remove this president from office.

The so-far unnamed source for the New York Times op-ed claims that officials within the administration had begun openly wondering about using the 25th Amendment very early on in Trump’s tenure.
“Given the instability many witnessed, there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start a complex process for removing the president,” the gutless author wrote from behind his screen. “But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis.”
Warren must be all-in on the Constitutional crisis thing now based on an anonymous report. Seems pretty solid.

These are the same kinds of disgraceful attacks the Democrat Party launched at Ronald Reagan who was deemed mentally unfit by his political opponents.
The 25th Amendment has only been used three times as a means to relieve a President from his duties – all temporary, and all involving physical matters such as surgery.
This, despite the fact that a study by Jonathan Davidson of the Duke University Medical Center, which analyzed past presidents from 1776 to 1974, discovered that half of them had suffered from some form of mental illness. A good 27 percent of those had experienced symptoms and signs while in office.
Medically verifiable mental illnesses weren’t enough of an obstacle to remove these previous presidents, but an unsourced member of the ‘resistance’ is going to bring down Trump?
If you believe that, perhaps you’re mentally unfit yourself.
