CNN Anchor Alisyn Camerota tried to embarrass Dr. Ben Carson on air, but the doctor was in no mood to accept it!
Watch (below) as the usually soft-spoken Dr. Carson directly confronted the anchor in a blunt way about his misinterpreted comments which suggested that America would be “Cuba” if Fox News Channel wasn’t on the air.
The CNN anchor said, “I really don’t know what you’re talking about. Fox News came to dominance in 2001. You think before 2001 the U.S. was a communist country?”
That’s when Dr. Carson fired back!
That’s not what I said, but that’s what you guys love to do.
The anchor tried to interrupt, but Carson was persistent. He told her to listen, and explained in detail:
What I am saying is that the general mainstream media all seems to move in a secular progressive direction. You know, they would like to create a narrative that certain things are good and certain things are bad according to the way that they see them. And by being able to be the bully pulpit so to speak…you can get a lot of people to start thinking the way that you do.
Then, Dr. Carson noted Fox News came on air to offer an “alternative” point of view.
If we didn’t have that counterbalance — I wish we didn’t need that counterbalance. The media is supposed to be neutral and they’re supposed to be on the side of the people…but because they have become very partisan and very ideological, you need to have a counterbalance.
Ironically, Alisyn Camerota is a former Fox News anchor. Clearly, she was intent on smearing her former employer while embarrassing Dr. Carson. Thankfully, the doctor is too smart for her.

Barack/Barry/Hussein/Soetero/ Obama is the least vetted person in the history of politics. She/Allison is a liar, not Ben Carson. Still, to this day, we aren't really sure who he is. We know nothing about his scholastic achievement or lack thereof. We can't explain how he ended up with SSN's from New Jersey. We were told he was born in and grew up in Hawaii, but we also know that in his formative years he attended Indonesian Muslim schools. We know he was known back then as Barry, but we didn't know any of this before he was elected.

She did lied about the vetting of Obama. Did they vet his college records and did they vet his student loan or student visa? Did the vet in depth his association with the communist friends? No not at all. I agree with Ben that he doesn't need to disclose people in his book as to their real identity without their permission and that would be a criminal action against him if he did.

State your facts on why as you say that he has lost his mind. He is a strong conservative and he has done nothing to show that he has lost his mind.
Question. If journalists have freedom of the press to not give up their sources, why must Dr. Carson reveal the names and exact relationship of those about whom he wrote in his book? Vetting is a poor reason for hounding him about it. Neither the press nor John Q Public has a "need to know" who these people are. Sununu (sp?) was a great follow up. But she needed a Clonipin after those interviews.
