Heartbreaking news this morning, as it’s being reported that Donald Trump Jr., son of President Trump, is reportedly on track to divorce his wife Vanessa of 13 years.
This truly is a tragic story, and one that all Americans, regardless of their political affiliation, should be sympathetic towards.
Page Six broke the news last night:
Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Vanessa Trump, are struggling through marital problems and friends say they are heading for divorce, multiple sources have exclusively confirmed to Page Six.
Vanessa and the eldest son of President Donald Trump married in November 2005 and have five children. But while they have not legally separated, friends say they have been living separate lives.

It should be noted that the report is only based off someone’s testimony, and isn’t completely concrete.
Regardless, recent postings on social media suggest that Trump Jr. and his wife aren’t as close as they once were. Instagram postings from Trump Jr. show that he has been spending a great deal of time outdoors and on long camping trips away from home.
Additionally, it can’t be easy being married to the son of a major surrogate of the President of the United States. Just last month, a package of mysterious white powder was mailed to the resident of Donald and Vanessa Trump, which resulted in Vanessa being sent to the hospital.
The kind of public exposure and danger that comes with being related to a progeny of the President probably isn’t what Vanessa signed up for when agreeing to marry Donald Jr.
Regardless, divorce is always sad, especially for the children involved. The Trump family should have our prayers at this time.
