The Stop the Iran Deal Rally had a large crowd and an impressive lineup of speakers. Before Ted Cruz and Donald Trump spoke, Michael Pregent of Vets Against the Deal addressed the crowd.
Pregent discussed how inadequately prepared many of our politicians are in regards to Iran. He specifically mentioned how some don’t even know anything about Qassem Suleimani, who is one of the instrumental leaders in the Shiite Muslim revolution. He has twice been labeled a terrorist by American officials.
Perhaps Pregent didn’t know this but one other person does not not have knowledge of Suleimani–Donald Trump. Last week on Hugh Hewitt’s show, Trump didn’t recognize Suleimani’s name.
