Dems Waste Time Passing Non-Binding Resolution; Can’t Get Trump With Impeachment So Now This?

The House has passed Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s non-binding War Powers Resolution by a margin of 224 to 194.

Even if it were binding, I find it unlikely that it would pass the Senate, and also if it did, it wouldn’t survive a veto. But I hope that the voters remember in November that after President Trump responded to Iranian aggression, the Democrats were more concerned with limiting his power than defending this country.

This was a waste of time that negatively affects the security of this country. It sends the wrong message to our enemies. Iran shot down a commercial jet killing everyone on board using a Russian missile system that was likely purchased using the cash that Obama sent to Iran for the Nuclear Deal that only served to delay Iran from getting nukes.

All the hostile actions that Iran has taken against the US and our allies and the traitors in Congress have a problem with Trump killing one of their terrorist generals who were responsible for US deaths. Have you seen those wounded warrior commercials where the barely functional solder talks about his humvee hitting an IED wounding him and killing/wounding others? That was thanks to this general who provided Iraq with the technology to defeat US light armor used in humvees.

If they care about this country at all, they will pass a bill limiting congressional terms. Congress is empowered to fund federal spending and declare war. Not to micromanage POTUS’s foreign policy as commander in chief.

The Democrats want to weaken the Presidential War Powers since they cannot get Trump impeached or win a general election. Pelosi has not yet submitted the articles of impeachment to the Senate, yet this took only three days to accomplish.

Pres. Trump has the authority as Commander-in-chief to protect our military. The Democrats should focus on winning next November instead of wasting time on legislation like this. Pres. Trump will win this November again, and the Republicans will regain the House and get a bigger majority in the Senate.

Who the heck is Congress to change the policy that was written and served our country since it was founded? There is a reason the President has those powers. Congress was not elected President. Congress is the people, and the President was elected by the people to have the power to protect the people without the red tape of congressional votes and bureaucracy. Look at the history of the Roman empire and the storyline of fiction, such as Star Wars. Checks and balances people, checks, and balances. This show/ politics is ridiculous.

From this moment, when Democrats chose to restrict the president’s ability to protect American citizens, we must consider them democracy’s number one enemy and treat them as such.

Three Republicans voted with Democrats:

While eight Democrats voted with Republicans:

Would someone please tell me when did Pres. Trump declare war with or on Iran? How exactly did that happen? Even the Iranians said they’ve done what they’re going to do, and they’re done, “We Do NOT want war with the US.”

Trump said: “We do not want a war with Iran. We took out a leading terrorist that was killing Americans.”

If Trump had notified Congress about the strike, it would have been leaked to all of the newspapers and been front-page news the next morning.

Every U.S. president – including Barack Obama – has openly stated that the US will never allow Iran to have nukes. That is an implied but overt declaration of war. Maybe Congress ought to start talking about that and make a decision because every president has stated they are planning – and willing – to go to war with Iran.

So far, Democrat’s impeachment means nothing, and now this means nothing. They can’t win at anything. They continue to try to remove the powers and rights of the people in contradiction of the US Constitution. Remember, during the Obama-Nation era, when Democrats labeled the Republican Party, the party of “no.” Hypocrisy and the Democrats go hand in hand.
