Defiant Biden: Not Sorry for Anything I Have Ever Done

A defiant Joe Biden told reporters that he’s not sorry about his past actions but regrets not understanding that he made some women feel uncomfortable.

After being accused by several women of inappropriate touching and making them feel uneasy, Biden issued a video mea culpa that many people noticed didn’t amount to an apology.

He said that he would “hear what [women] are saying” and vowed to try and “understand it.”

But he never said ‘I’m sorry.’

Biden followed that weak effort by actually cracking jokes about the controversy in his first public speech since former Nevada Assemblywoman Lucy Flores alleged the potential 2020 candidate inappropriately kissed her and smelled her hair.

No Regrets

While many found his reactions to be curious, we now have a better understanding of the motivation behind it – Biden doesn’t believe he’s done anything wrong.

Fielding questions from reporters following his speech before the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Biden insisted he’s not sorry on several fronts.

“I’m not sorry for any of my intentions. I’m not sorry for anything that I have ever done,” he insisted. “I have never been disrespectful intentionally to a man or a woman. So that’s not the reputation I’ve had since I was in high school, for God’s sakes.”

Will the media let him off the hook after that comment? Because we know they would never let President Trump off the hook. Trump made comments in the past that were questionable and dismissed them as ‘locker room talk.’ They’ve never let him forget about it.

Biden is No Threat – to Trump

President Trump has called Biden his “dream opponent” in 2020, anticipating an easy defeat of the former vice president.

“Well, I dream, I dream about Biden. That’s a dream,” Trump said adding that the former vice president’s few political successes occurred when “President Obama took him out of the garbage heap.”

Biden’s bumbling of this controversy – through jokes and non-apologies – has essentially confirmed the dream for Trump.

“I don’t see him as a threat. I think he’s only a threat to himself,” Trump told reporters at the White House.

Maybe when he realizes he’ll never be President, Biden will finally be sorry.
