DC Woman’s Divorce Filing Blames Ilhan Omar For Breaking Up Her Marriage

Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett, a 55-year-old mother living in Washington, DC, has filed for divorce and blamed Rep. Ilhan Omar for her husband’s infidelity.

The New York Post reports that they’ve obtained the “bombshell” divorce filing in which Mynett accuses her husband, Tim Mynett, of carrying on an affair and making a “declaration of love” for Omar (D-MN).

“The parties physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar,” the document states.

Mynett even claims her husband and Omar took the couple’s son out to dinner and showered him with gifts while she was out of town.

“He [Mr. Mynett] and Rep. Omar took the parties’ son to dinner in order to formally meet for the first time at the family’s favorite neighborhood restaurant while Plaintiff was out of town,” the filing reads.

Mynett notes that such actions were dangerous to their child since Omar had claimed to be the victim of numerous death threats.

Mr. Mynett allegedly returned from the dinner with Omar and the son, and all three went “back inside the family’s home.”

Reports surfaced last month indicating Omar had left her husband, Ahmed Hirsi, and moved into a penthouse apartment in a trendy Minneapolis neighborhood.

Shortly thereafter, video emerged of her leaving “a romantic out-of-the-way restaurant” in Playa Del Rey with a mystery man, who, video shows, may very well have been Mynett.

That dinner date came just one day after the Democrat congresswoman’s controversial remarks at a Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) banquet, where she downplayed the 9/11 terror attacks describing them as “some people did something.”

Omar’s incredibly active marital issues come as several sources, including the left-leaning Minneapolis Star-Tribune, reported on documents raising questions as to whether Omar previously married her own brother as a means to “skirt immigration laws.”

Judicial Watch filed a congressional ethics complaint against Omar in July, saying she must be investigated for “perjury, immigration fraud, marriage fraud, state and federal tax fraud, and federal student loan fraud.”

Aside from the fraud issues, there are religious implications to Omar’s activities.

Cheryl K. Chumley of the Washington Times openly wonders if “adultery – defined as sexual relations with a married individual” would be “at odds with Omar’s Muslim religion.”

“According to sharia, Islam’s strict rules for living, the penalty for adultery is death by stoning — or, at the least, a public lashing. Or, both,” she writes.

Something to think about for Omar, who once proclaimed that life in America under President Trump “is an everyday assault” and that she’s experienced prejudice in this country since day one “as a visibly Muslim woman.”
