We have now learned that Obama’s stimulus package actually went to California dam in “Good Shape” but not to Oroville which has threatened 200,000 California residents.
California is a nightmare state, and it’s getting worse. With calls for “Calexit,” the liberals who run California want to become their own country after running up obscene debts and massive unfunded public pension liabilities, while the schools and infrastructure are a disaster.
California is run horribly, and is home to millions of illegal aliens. The state is working to declare itself a “Sanctuary State,” in defiance of America’s immigration laws and President Donald J. Trump’s tough position on border security.
Now, thanks to rain, the water level in Lake Oroville is about to force America’s tallest dam to collapse. More rain is in the forecast, and almost 200,000 people are already evacuated for higher ground.
Northern California is now a disaster area and roads are packed with cars trying to get out of town. But what the liberal media doesn’t want you to know is, the entire situation is the result of politicians who have ruined the Golden State.
Run by incompetent Gov. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown, the state has been run by incompetent fools for many decades. This is the truth:
More than a decade ago, federal and state officials and some of California’s largest water agencies rejected concerns that the massive earthen spillway at Oroville Dam — at risk of collapse Sunday night and prompting the evacuation of 185,000 people — could erode during heavy winter rains and cause a catastrophe.
Three environmental groups […] filed a motion with the federal government on Oct. 17, 2005, as part of Oroville Dam’s relicensing process, urging federal officials to require that the dam’s emergency spillway be armored with concrete, rather than remain as an earthen hillside.
Ironically, the Governor of the time was Arnold Schwarzenegger. He’s no friend of conservatives, and is now busy ruining the ratings for President Trump’s former reality show, The Apprentice.
Arnold, along with the Democrat-dominated state, didn’t take the issue seriously. Now, countless Californians are in crisis.
When Trump talks about the need for serious infrastructure repair, he means it. This is a clear example of what can happen after years of neglect and mismanagement.
