Congressman Has Had Enough: We Have a Duty to Impeach Obama

Veteran congressman Walter Jones has long held the assertion that Republicans should impeach President Obama if he attemptsĀ to change the requirements of immigration law by executive action.

Appearing on America’s Forum, Jones reiterated his stance saying “We have a Constitutional duty to ensure that whoever is the President of the United States, that he or she… upholds the Constitution.”

The North Carolina congressman has said Obama’s executive actions must be fought as a Constitutional issue involving the separation of powers.

The Constitution gives the House of Representatives the right to impeach the president.

Jones said he doesn’t particularly enjoy the idea of impeaching anyone, but it becomes a necessity when the President is making “decisions to the detriment of our country.”

Take a look…

Would the GOP ever truly consider impeaching the President, and would it be a good thing for the country?
