CNN’s Ratings Take a Nosedive and Rachel Maddow’s Numbers Are Getting Worse

Rachel Maddow crying

After spending two years pushing a fake story about supposed collusion between President Trump and Russia during the 2016 presidential election, left-leaning CNN has now fallen to 15th place in primetime ratings.

Leading anti-Trump conspiracy theorist Rachel Maddow of MSNBC has also taken a severe hit.

Breitbart’s John Nolte reports:

“Throughout all of cable TV, during the week of April 1, Fox News grabbed the most primetime viewers with 2.3 million, MSNBC came in second with 1.6 million, and way below them, way below number one and number two, way below HGTV, the Food Network, Investigative Discovery, and the Hallmark Channel, sits the far-left CNN in 15th place, with only 745,000 primetime viewers.

That’s primetime.

Throughout the entire broadcast day last week, CNN managed to attract only an average of 524,000 viewers for an 8th place showing.

By comparison, Fox News was again number one with 1.3 million, and MSNBC came in second place with 890,000.

“Imagine that — imagine you are CNN and only able to attract 524,000 viewers through the day,” Nolte adds, “throughout a week filled with dramatic news in a country with over 300 million people.”

This should not surprise anyone. The cornerstone of credible journalism is only reporting verified facts. After MONTHS of harping on a phony collusion story involving the president that the Mueller report showed to be false, it only makes sense that even once-loyal viewers of these liberal outlets would start leaving in droves.

Just ask Rachel Maddow.

It was just a few weeks ago that Maddow and Fox News’ Sean Hannity regularly battled it out for first place in the weeknight ratings.

But now?

Compared to this time last year, The Daily Caller reports that Maddow has lost somewhere between 17 to 34 percent of her viewers, with the numbers vary depending on the week.

Ouch.

Will this make these anti-Trump zealots learn their lesson? Will they begin to fact-check before reporting? Maybe even become more interested in pursuing truth than pushing their own ideological agendas?

Fat chance. Expect CNN and Rachael Maddow keep spewing the same phony garbage they always have.

And expect their ratings to reflect it.
