CNN’s Jake Tapper Loses It On Trump: ‘It’s Like He’s Trying to Kill Off His Own Supporters’

Jake Tapper Trump Kill Off His Supporters

CNN anchor Jake Tapper objected to President Trump returning to campaign rallies claiming, “It’s like he’s trying to kill off his own supporters.”

The comments came after Tapper and his panel discussed an alleged “complete recklessness, irresponsibility by President Trump and his campaign.”

The CNN personality began by linking the President’s rallies to the death of Herman Cain, though even he admits “there’s no definitive proof.”

“But when you look at the timeline,” Tapper insists, combined with public health experts telling him that “it’s completely consistent with the idea of Cain getting the virus” at Trump’s Tulsa rally in June.

He went on to mention a Minnesota rally and their efforts in contact tracing back to the event there.

“I don’t know what other states are doing,” a flabbergasted Tapper exclaimed. “But I mean – It’s like he’s trying to kill off his own supporters.”

Jake Tapper Accusing Trump of Trying to Kill Off His Supporters is Vile

What Tapper fails to comprehend as an opinion journalist is that President Trump represents many people in the country who refuse to be beholden to fear of the pandemic.

People who would rather live their lives as they once did in a free society.

As the President was recovering from his positive coronavirus diagnosis, he urged Americans not to live in fear.

“Don’t let [COVID] dominate you. Don’t be afraid of it. You’re going to beat it,” he said in a taped video. “We have the best medical equipment. We have the best medicines, all developed recently.”

Tapper recently took a shot at President Trump for not wearing a mask as well.

“This is me alone in the CNN coffee room abiding by basic health regulations BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT ADULTS DO,” he said, posting a selfie.

Tapper tweeted the juvenile jab just days after the President tested positive and his health was still unclear.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes Also Thinks Republicans Don’t Care About How Many People Die

Tapper wasn’t the only one to seemingly lose his mind over some people’s response to the pandemic.

MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes accused Republicans not wearing a mask at the Senate hearings regarding Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett of wanton disregard for public safety.

“They don’t appear to care how many people die if they can get their Supreme Court justice through,” accused Hayes.

“This stuff is a matter of life and death. There are tens of thousands of people right now who aren’t sick, who are going to get sick and die if the right precautions aren’t taken,” Hayes said.

“They don’t appear to care how many people die if they can get their Supreme Court justice through or somehow get this president re-elected,” he continued.

“It sounds almost deranged and hyperbolic to say it, but it is absolutely the plain and indisputable truth.”
