This about sums it up for CNN, the former ‘most trusted name in news.’
Ever since President Trump called out reporter Jim Acosta for being ‘fake news,’ the network has been working overtime to prove him right.
Following a violent incident in Charlottesville last August, Acosta did his best to portray Trump as racist for 1) not condemning the violence – Trump: “They have been condemned,” and 2) not holding a press conference on the matter – Trump: “We had a press conference.”
He then called out the President for not fielding more questions to which Trump responded, pointing at Acosta, “I like real news, not fake news. You’re fake news.”

The following basic, but very effective, and likely accurate portrayal of a CNN news desk just about sums things up for the network now most associated with the insulting term.
“We’ll be back with more news as soon as we make some up,” the faux network reporter says.
Yep, that about sums it up.
Even this week, the network stepped in it yet again, falling all over themselves in an attempt to portray the President’s perfectly reasonable comments about MS-13 gang members being animals as racist.
CNN reported his words as applying to sanctuary cities and immigration laws in general when he was very specifically referring to violent criminal gang members.
It took them upwards of 20 hours to correct their obviously false reporting.
As reported in the article above, Trump’s remarks late Wednesday were in response to comments about members of MS-13 and other undocumented immigrants who are deported for committing crimes.

CNN contributor Ana Navarro, who is actually portrayed as a Republican by the network (also fake news), took Trump’s comments and defended MS-13 gang members while comparing the President to Nazis and slave-owners.
No really, she did that. Twice. Once on social media, then doubled down on it for an appearance with Andrew Cuomo’s little brother.
Trump is in very bad company.

“The president of the United States has got to measure his words and be more careful about what he says,” she said unironically. “And it is a very slippery slope when you start dehumanizing people this way.”
“It’s what the Nazis did. It’s what slave owners did. It’s not what Americans do,” she concluded.
President Trump couldn’t help but take another ‘fake news’ swipe at media outlets for misrepresenting his comments and then slowly, begrudgingly correcting their stories.
Fake News Media had me calling Immigrants, or Illegal Immigrants, “Animals.” Wrong! They were begrudgingly forced to withdraw their stories. I referred to MS 13 Gang Members as “Animals,” a big difference – and so true. Fake News got it purposely wrong, as usual!

They’ve corrected the record now, hours after it was allowed to marinate in the public so that their unhinged viewers could believe their story. But they’ll do it again.
Just as the cartoon says, they’ll ‘be right back with more news as soon as they make some up.’
