‘Clock Boy’ Ahmed Mohamed lost another round in court this week, after his lawsuit against conservative Daily Wire editor Ben Shapiro was dismissed. What’s more, is that Clock Boy is being ordered to pay the conservative editor’s legal fees.
As you may recall, Mohamed – or Clock Boy as he has become known – tested the waters in his school by allegedly building a “clock” inside a briefcase for his science project.
The device was most definitely designed, quoting Bill Maher, to look “exactly like a bomb,” and officials at the school rightfully contacted authorities.
Since then, Clock Boy and his Clock Dad have been suing anybody who dared criticize the stunt, looking for a quick cash grab.
Last month, one such lawsuit was tossed out of court by a Texas judge. Now Clock Boy is 0-2 in his suits.
Today, they were defeated in their quest to silence those who exposed them as activists, terror sympathizers and politically motivated.
“Ben Shapiro has always been a steadfast advocate of the First Amendment and there was never any doubt he was going to stand up for his right to speak freely,” Shapiro’s attorney Kurt Schlichter of Schlichter & Shonack LLP in Los Angeles tells Townhall. “I’m very grateful that the state of Texas takes the First Amendment seriously, I only wish my own state of California would do the same, especially after the fiasco at Berkeley yesterday.”
According to the ruling, Shapiro is entitled to attorneys fees, court costs and other expenses from Mohammed. Payment must made within 14 days.

During an appearance on Fox News in 2015, Shapiro said he believed the Clock Boy case was “a hoax.”
“This was a setup and that President Obama fell for it because it confirms a couple of his pre-stated biases against police and against people who he perceives to be Islamaphobic,” he said.
While it’s been readily apparent what Mohamed’s intentions were to even mildly intelligent adults, Obama fell for the story hook, line, and sinker.
He praised Mohamed and invited the teen to the White House, asking him to bring his “cool clock.”
Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It’s what makes America great.

Obviously, Obama wasn’t truly interested in Mohamed’s science project as much as he was interested in sympathizing with him because he views most Americans as “Islamophobic.”
Thank goodness this Texas judge hasn’t been nearly as gullible or politically motivated.
