Due to the many leaks coming from the White House, President Trump is being more careful about what information he shares with the media. And nowhere was this more apparent than during the President’s recent cabinet meeting.
Trump’s Cabinet has been slow to come together because Democrats have been delaying the process. CIA Director Mike Pompeo is a good man and a solid pick to lead the intelligence organization. I might not agree with him on Wikileaks, but I stand by my original decision that he’s tough and firm, yet fair. And he also has a good sense of humor!
During Trump’s first full Cabinet meeting, members were giving their name and saying the department they work for when Pompeo cracked a joke about the media that even made the President laugh.

CIA Director Mike Pompeo joked at a Cabinet meeting on Monday that he won’t say anything while the media is in the room, a jest that the Cabinet, especially President Trump, enjoyed.
“Mr. President, it’s an honor to serve as your CIA Director. It’s an incredible privilege to lead the men and women who are providing intelligence so that we can do the national security mission,” Pompeo began his comments.
“In the finest tradition of the CIA, I’m not going to say a damn thing in front of the media,” he then said.
The Cabinet laughed at Pompeo’s remarks as the media looked on.
President Trump seemed to particularly enjoy the comment.
I totally get Pompeo’s comment. What do you expect when the media is in bed with the Democrats and is trying to hurt the Trump presidency? Journalists don’t care about anything Trump is doing for the country. Media liberals are going after his family, his Cabinet members, friends of the president, and business owners who want to work with the Administration for the good of the country.
Pompeo is right not to speak to antagonistic journalists. They don’t deserve the time of day!
