Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former President Bill and First Lady Hillary Clinton, has revealed there is a possible path for her to run for political office.
Speaking before an event to promote her new children’s book, Chelsea explained that certain circumstances could lead to her step up to the plate.
“I think if someone were to step down or retire and I thought I could do a good job and it matched my talents, I’d have to think if it’s the right choice for me,” she told The Journal News.
Chelsea added that while she has no plans to run for office, “it is something I think about.”
What qualifies her to run? Her time working at the corrupt Clinton Foundation?

“If you care about what’s happening in the world, you have to care about running for and holding elected office. I hope it’s a question that we ask ourselves,” Clinton said.
Chelsea also insulted Trump
The former First Daughter also took a shot at the current occupant of the White House.
“It’s at the national level where I disagree deeply with President Trump on, I think, everything practically,” she admitted.
She doesn’t plan to tackle matters on the national stage, however. There is no showdown with the President in the works. Instead, Chelsea will focus on changing the world “through my work in the foundation, my writing and my teaching.”
Writing children’s books is more her speed anyway.

In previous interviews for her children’s books, Chelsea has blasted President Trump and his supporters as racists, misogynists, and hateful people who instigate violence.
She said the President has “mainlined hate” and claimed he was responsible for an uptick in hate crimes.
Hillary doesn’t talk to Chelsea about a potential 2020 run for president
During the question and answer segment, Chelsea admitted that her mother has never once mentioned her plans regarding a possible rematch against Trump in 2020.
“I support my mom in whatever she wants to do, but she’s never once mentioned that (a presidential run) to me,” the bewildered daughter claimed.
Hillary recently embarked on a national speaking tour with her deviant husband, re-upping her public profile as we roll toward the midterms and onto 2020.
If lying and spreading fake news is a qualification for running on a Democrat ticket – oh wait, of course it is! – then Chelsea would make a perfect candidate.
Especially if she follows her carpetbagging mother’s footsteps by finding an open office in a liberal cesspool, like Hillary did when she ran for Senate in New York.
But there are a couple of items she’s going to have to work on to truly prove she’s as qualified as her mother to run for office on any level – local or national.
First, she’ll have to work on that laugh that FBI Peter Srzok apparently found to be, shall we say, less than presentable.
And second, does she have the physical stamina to sustain a political campaign as her mother does by … opening a pickle jar?
Kidding aside, the thought of another Clinton generation infecting the body politic is truly, truly frightening.
