Former president Obama made his return to the spotlight, and blasted Republicans who voted to repeal and replace Obamacare as cowards.
Really, Obama?
The childish outburst led famous conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer to roast the failed former president, saying “good riddance.”
Obama, believe it or not, received a John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award on Sunday night. That’s right, the man who hid behind a YouTube video as an excuse for the Benghazi terrorist attacks, received a “courage” award.
In his comments standing before a crowd of liberal sycophants, Obama ‘bravely’ criticized Republicans.
“I hope that current members of Congress recall that it actually doesn’t take a lot of courage to aid those who are already powerful … but it does require some courage to champion the vulnerable and the sick and the infirm and those who often have no access to the corridors of power,” Obama said.
Krauthammer could barely contain himself, saying Obama’s remarks were “complete moral condescension.”
“It’s been a full 100 days,” he railed, “but it was nice to be reminded of why we should be grateful as a nation he is gone.”
Krauthammer then echoed all of America, saying “good riddance, Mr. President.”

Krauthammer slammed Obama’s veiled remarks about the Republicans’ ObamaCare replacement bill, calling the speech “complete moral condescension.”
He said it was wrong for Obama to “[say] the other guys are cowards” and that he is the only one who stands up for the sick and underprivileged.
Krauthammer said Obama therefore supported his party “committing political suicide” to support ObamaCare’s one-sided passage.
“To pretend you are the one advocating [in a courageous way] is complete nonsense,” he said. “He reminded me it’s been 100 days, but good riddance, Mr. President.”
Indeed, there is no courage involved behind the passing of Obamacare, a health care reform bill that was forced down the collective throats of our nation.
Doing the right thing by the American people – that would have been courageous. Instead, Obama forced passage of Obamacare despite it being opposed by voters by a wide margin.
Jack Schlossberg, son of Caroline Kennedy, explained why he chose Obama for the courage award – “Throughout his two terms in office, he represented all Americans with decency, integrity, and an unshakeable commitment to the greater good.”
The greater good? He forced a collapsing health care policy on the American people, exploded the national debt, decimated the military, put record numbers of people out of the labor force and onto entitlement programs, and ruined race relations in America.
That is what the left considers ‘courage.’
Krauthammer is right – Good riddance, Mr. President.
