Charles Krauthammer Gives Hopeful Signs About His Health

Charles Krauthammer used to be one of the most watched pundits on Fox News. He was a staple of Fox’s hard news hour, “Special Report” with Bret Baier, and added his colorful and incisive commentary to the all-star commentary panel.

Krauthammer was famously paralyzed as a young man during a swimming accident. Despite being confined to a wheelchair for most of his adult life, he was able to become a successful psychiatrist and, later, a political commentator.

Unfortunately, Krauthammer’s fans have been experiencing a lack of their favorite commentator. Last summer, Krauthammer took an extended leave to deal with a health issue. The resulting surgery ended with complications, prolonging his absence.

But now it looks like Krauthammer may have turned a corner in his recovery.

From Daily Caller:

Fox News regular and Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer says he is finally “back on track” after multiple surgeries and hopes to eventually return home.

Krauthammer took time off during the summer of 2017 to undergo a medical procedure and reportedly suffered complications. Fans have been clamoring for updates on his health, and Fox News anchor Bret Baier shared some good news on Monday.

Here’s what Krauthammer told Baier: “The worst now appears to be behind me, and I’m finally getting back on track with the rehab schedule that will eventually get me home.”

This is wonderful news! Krauthammer is not your usual pundit. He’s no parrot repeating talking points endlessly.

He’s whip smart, and a great writer. His conservative outlook defined the grassroots opposition to Barack Obama’s big-government agenda. Countless Americans tuned into Fox News every weekday evening to get his insight on what was happening in Washington. And now it looks like he’ll be back on TV and writing for The Washington Post again soon.

Let’s wish Krauthammer a speedy recovery!
