Donald Trump shocked the entire world when he was elected president, so it’s no surprise that more celebrities are considering following in his footsteps and entering the political realm. On Sunday, Caitlyn Jenner revealed that she’s considering a run for the California Senate:
“I have considered it, I like the political side of it,” she said of a potential run for a Senate seat in California. “The political side of it has always been very intriguing to me. Over the next six months or so, I [have to] find out where I can do a better job. Can I do a better job from the outside, kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talk to anybody? Or are you better off from the inside. And we are in the process of determining that.”
Jenner would run as a Republican; and, unsurprisingly, she said that a big focus of her campaign would be to change the liberal perception that the GOP is anti-LGBT:
“The perception of the Republican party is that they’re all about rich white guys trying to make money,” she said. “I would hope in the next generation that we can change the perception of the Republican party, and make it the party of equality.”
Of course, California is decidedly blue. It seems unlikely that Jenner would stand a chance running as a Republican in the Golden State – even as a transgender candidate. Because according to liberals transgenders – or blacks, or Hispanics, or women – aren’t supposed to be Republican. God forbid anyone think for themselves, right?
This isn’t the first time Jenner has discussed a potential future in politics. She also addressed the topic on CNN Tonight in April:
Whether Jenner ultimately decides to run or not, one thing’s for sure: her unconventional politics are sure to continue pissing off liberals everywhere.

It sure wouldn't help the Democrats.
How appropriate that Jenner is a Republican.
Fits right in there with Cruz, Ryan, Trump, Pence and the rest of the establishment Republicans.
Does that mean you agree with the insane democrats?
I am by no means sympathetic with his/her choice of a life, but, California needs a dose of reality & if he/she pisses them off, so much the better. Any state, especially California, that would dare to attempt to pass a bill making it somehow 'OK' to be a legislator if that state AND a communist needs a reality check. I'd say go for it!
shed fit write in in Cali with all the pedos & hollowood shills.
STOP! Just STOP. This is insane. NO, Bruce Jenner does not need to run for political office in any state. PERIOD. He just needs to fade into oblivion. Please! Just STOP this insanity!
Gold medalist Jenner shouldn't RUN for a political position. He should just RUN period. That's what he was born to do.
As a Conservative if Caitlyn Jenner ran on the Republican ticket for the Senate I would say "More Power To You Girl". She has a right to run she is an American citizen. Plus who am I to judge what she has done with her life? Plus we need good Republican support in California. So go girl.
By the way, Bruce. Yea I said it, Bruce. You are still not a chick even though you threw away your dick. In auto and wood shop we would have considered that an accident getting too close to the band saw or the mitre saw. You're still a dude. Just like the song says "Dude looks like a lady," albeit one hell of an ugly lady, but still a dude. Run for senate in California? Why not. Can't possibly be worse than Nancy Pelosi, Diane Feinstein and the rest of the idiots.
Don, I think you are a little confused on this issue.
I don't think he cut off his wanker... The dude just tucks it in. yikes... what lengths people will go to to stay relevant in Hollywood.sad.
California is having enough troubles. He has lost all creditability as a man. Let him run. California needs a good laugh. He has been forgotten and hated for becoming what he is. This is the only way he can bring himself back only to have another failure.
Oh my , JUST what we need - another nut case in the Senate - there are simply not enough of them now !
