Just confirmed! George Mason University’s Law School will be renamed the Antonin Scalia School of Law at George Mason University after the late, great Supreme Court Justice.
The change was first reported by NPR legal affairs correspondent Nina Totenberg and, predictably, liberals’ heads started to explode!
Not only are liberals going crazy about this amazing tribute to the conservative legal giant, but the law school also announced a big donation from the Koch Foundation:
The school is also expected to announce it has received two donations totaling $30 million. An anonymous donor who gave a $20 million donation requested the renaming of the school. The other $10 million came from the Charles Koch Foundation.
The school will use the money to fund three new scholarship programs, one of which will be a Scalia scholarship for students with “excellent academic credentials.”
Grab the popcorn and enjoy the liberal reaction! Also, enjoy this video of Justice Clarence Thomas remembering his friend “Nino:”
