I agree with some of it. Build the fence, hire the agents, send back all criminals, and do not pay ANY social benefits to people who are not citizens. I disagree about the ones who are here already–especially the dreamers. There needs to be a path for them–I’m not saying it should be easy, but there should be a way for them to become “Legal” without disrupting their lives to leave the country. That would take too long.

I have read through most of these posts, and as an educator, I feel compelled to respond. Teachers in our nation struggle each year with the influx of new students into the classrooms who have limited English language skills. We must identify strengths and weaknesses in learning and somehow come up with a magic bullet that removes all obstacles and gets these children learning at the level of students who have been speaking, reading, and writing English for years. Because we love children and want to see all of our students succeed, we rearrange curriculum, schedule extra trainings, offer unpaid tutoring, and meet with and get to know the parents when possible. We do all of this with very little monetary compensation and on very little sleep because we spend most nights adjusting lesson plans and searching for useful materials. Then, at the end of the year, when our physical and emotional resources are spent, we are judged inadequate and incompetent when scores come in revealing that our Hispanic students are not performing as well as their peers. A cry of outrage goes up from parents across the nation. Teachers are failures! No, we are not. Education hits the front line of the illegal immigration issue each day. In my school district, it is now incredibly rare for a teaching position to be posted that does not require fluent Spanish. Now, our poorly paid profession, that by the way requires a masters degree to practice, also requires us to do all the things we do each day in another language.

That’s ancient history……if you want to use that argument then the spanish stole Mexico from the Mayans and other tribes that lived in that part of the world. The fact is the US has a problem controlling who’s coming into the country and staying against the law.

I agree with many of the cautious comments below. Trump’s policies will bring about good change as well as bad change within the U.S. I will vote for Trump instead of Hillary in November because he’s the lesser of the two evils. The United States needs a president whose willing to stand against illegal Mexican immigrants. They are diluting and dissolving the country our ancestors worked so hard to build by taking advantage of our system. the statistical data has proven that hispanic populations are inclined toward violence and crime. don’t believe me? look it up.

I hope that our next POTUS will take a close and hard look at the state of the UK, Belgium, France, and the position of people like Denmark how quickly these issues have erupted to cause major unrest in cultural cities like Amsterdam. These nations are facing the erosion of not just their culture, but their laws and their free democratic people are being bullied by groups that are blatant in their unbending, and intolerant view of others in the world, and are not content to live alongside us without forcing their views, unjust and unwanted extreme laws upon us. We must be vigilant and not “lie sleeping” as we did. The issues are complex, and serious, i.e, Japan feels so threatened by radical extremism that portions of their leadership are challenging Article 9 of their constitution that says they may not militarize. It is ONE group causing that. He is the only candidate willing to address the elephant in the room., how can I ignore that? We simply must realize how fast the climate is changing. I was previously dead-set against Trump for environmental and many other reasons, but our actions in the next four to eight years are critical, and that has me looking to those who are looking at reality, not political correctness. Our allies in Europe do need us, and if not for the sake of compassion then for the common sense that democracy is our unifying stance, and where it’s democratic citizens are struggling, we are foolish to close a a blind eye to the determinedness of those groups that would overthrow Democratic law in favor of their own, and not allow any one else to worship in the way that way choose peacefully in the UK and France and elsewhere. I fear for the road ahead, but is not going to bypass us, by burying our heads in the sand, that will only lead us into a fate from which we find it harder to pull back from. At first it seemed a hard decision, but the more I realized that we need to be the strong country we can be, the more we need people willing to look at the ugly but real truth. We cannot hide from this. I don’t know that what Trump plans to so is possible, but from the protests against the law banning Foreign Laws just passed here in my city of Austin, Texas, I’m beginning to come to the realization that I’m not willing to say in hindsight I didn’t back the one person who is acknowledging the real threat to the fabric of our lives.

I’m not even an American, I’m from Singapore. But I totally support Trump’s ideas on illegal immigration. Let’s face it…if you don’t have borders, you don’t have a country! Trump is NOT against immigration, he’s simply against illegal immigration. I don’t even see the need to argue over such common sense. India even as a shoot-to-kill policy on the Bangladesh border while Australia would pay the fishermen to turn the illegal immigrants from Indonesia back to their homeland. Does any of the Indians or Aussies complain against it? Of course NOT!

Your country need a leader with brains and courage and Trump absolutely has both of them. It’s not quite the same to be humane as it is to be stupid. Just look at what’s going on in Europe right now. Absolute chaos. You certainly do not need another Merkel in your country.

Americans are documented from birth and throughout our lives. It would not be unreasonable to give illegals a choice: Be documented with fingerprints and under one name, then leave voluntarily or, when you are deported, you will be documented AND barred from ever entering the country again. I can’t go fishing in the USA without a fishing license, so illegals need to be documented.

We need to stop EB3 and H1B. We should not give them a full benefits. We need to wipe them out. Especially, people from communist and terrorist countries. H1B, EB3 and undocumented immigrants will have a fake marriage. Please stop letting Buddhist monks and nuns come to the US. Many Buddhist temples that are managed by non-US citizens need to pay high taxes. Please increase taxes triple times. Many of them are hidden communists. We have no money for them.

H1B students have a fake marriage. I got experience in it. I went to Vietnamese and CHinese communities. I heard that many students asking for a single American so then they can pay a high amount to live here. We cannot let communists and terrorists to live here. And before you start making claims about ILLEGAL immigrants remember they are undocumented and nobody knows how many are in the country or what their up to. They are UNDOCUMENTED. We know how may we have locked up because once they come in contact with the law then they become documented. Hence 100% of documented illegal immigrants are criminals. I don’t think people should complain about the different cultures/immigration in America. Because our country was built by immigrants all over the world. I think only native Americans have the right to complain. Immigrants are working so hard especially construction projects and made the America is stand it to be today. If today all the immigrants decide to leave United States there wouldn’t be any business and/or employments. Immigrants are the ones who gave this country a name.

The thing about Trump is that he wont be making America “Mean” or “Ruthless”. He’s just going to bring America back in line with other nations. No other country puts up with the junk that america puts up with, especially in the realm of immigration. There is no doubt that it’s one of the best countries on the world to live in, and everyone living in less than desirable conditions would like to move there. They support the refugees wonderfully. The problem is that America needs to be able to sustain itself first, and can’t possible take care of everyone. The reason you hear so many people are turned away from there is that everyone applies, and some (still large numerically) get the boot. America is one of the easiest countries to get a citizenship. Good luck getting citizenship in the middle east… you can’t… ever… yet nobody talks about them not accepting immigrants.,,, oh wait… nobody wants to go there in the first place.

So back on topic. With Trump as Pres, America will still be the 2nd nicest and most lenient country in immigration policy, it will just finally have somewhat of a backbone. I say 2nd because Canada exists, and the people there are to darn nice!!

Everyone says the wall will be too expensive to build and next to impossible to deport 11 million peeps… Here’s a grand idea. Let’s deport any illegal with violent crimes. That cuts down the number of deported to a reasonable number. The rest you give the option to either be deported or go down to the boarder and build the wall at minimum wadge paying full taxes with no benefits. After the wall is complete you put them on a fast track to LEGAL citizenship… No need to deport 11 million people and the wall is built inexpensively by the people creating the need to build the wall in the first place. America gets its wall and law abiding illegal citizens (I know those 4 words contradict themselves) get their citizenship. Everyone’s happy.

I honestly believe immigration is the duty of the STATES on the borders, backed up and enforced by Federal Law. Have a plan for legal immigration, stick to it, and do as Donald says, “MAKE AMERICA STRONG AGAIN” We can do such amazing things we, as a country should be able to
do this IF all the border states cooperate and go by the LAW. We need immigrants, our country was founded and based on immigrants so we KNOW that it can be done. WE just need leadership that will LEAD, Donald Trump is a LEADER. Politics has no place in his agenda, just LOVE of COUNTRY.

Voluntary Self-Deportation or Voluntary Slavery… THEIR CHOICE
These are really simple long-term solutions that would not only be a catalyst for self-deportation but it removes the incentive for other illegal criminals to continue to invade this country.
It should cost very little or nothing at all to have illegals deport themselves, just cut-off their ability to get and keep jobs, by making hiring them and keeping them employed, illegal. With a skyrocketing escalating fine for the employer, and jailed on a chain gang for 20 years, for the fourth offence.
Day laborers, gardeners and any other kind of temporary, short-term or ‘For Hire’ employment must show valid ID to those that employ them.
Cut off their ability to receive welfare and food stamps and all other Social Services. Cut off all ability to receive any kind of income!
Cut off their ability to buy or rent apartments and housing, give them nowhere to live. With a skyrocketing escalating fine for the landlord, and jailed on a chain gang for 20 years, for the fourth offence.
Make it impossible, except for bona fide medical emergencies to receive any free medical care.
Pregnancy is not an emergency! (How long have you known about it?)
No ‘anchor” babies, to be possible if the parents are here illegally!
After the Law is passed, give those already here, less than a year to self-deport and Track them with electronic monitoring until they do, or it’s automatically a 20 year stint on a chain gang!
After the law has been in effect for the first year, give them five days to leave the country, or it’s automatically a 20 year stint on a chain gang!
Make it illegal for convicted criminal illegals to ever return, for if they do, they will spend the next 30 years on the chain gang!

I think some of our governors and congressmen have something wrong with their brains! They are using political correctness to even apply to our countries’ laws. When they say all persons born on U.S. soil are automatically considered U.S. citizens, they aren’t even attempting to look at why that law was put into place. People are considering illegal immigrants and Mexico’s rights – not the legal U.S. citizens born here of American citizens. I also feel badly that we now have Supreme Court justices in place who have a ‘pretense’ of being for our country when in reality they are only people considering their own selfish motives or motives of others. All those people are supposed to be supporting legally born U.S. citizens. Think – we are supporting millions of illegal immigrants who come over here, have babies, we pay for their medical expenses through government funding, which is meant for OUR legal citizens. We are allowing them to take high paying jobs away from legally born U.S. citizens, and I am not talking nannies, maids, or those who work on our highways and in our fields. I am talking state and federal positions. I have personally experienced this trauma. I had worked for federal and state governments in the past and recently tried in two states which I had lived to reapply for federal and state positions to no avail! I am packed with experience! I am a born and raised American citizen and guess what? Because I do not speak fluent Spanish, the position was given to someone who spoke Spanish. What is this people? In the very small town I live in, we have a Stripes convenient store who has a Mexican manager. Because of that, she is bringing her entire illegal family from Mexico here to work in that store. American born citizens do not go to her store. Her employees do not speak English; they are her family, which is call N-E-P-O-T-I-S-M people; and further more, they are rude to other races of people who go in there, so we all go to another little store. I have NEVER been prejudice in my entire life but it angers me that we are pandering to Mexico people and treating our citizens like trash, and more recently since Obama took office. This idiot is destroying our great county! So if people who don’t speak Spanish can’t get a high paying position can’t get a job, and we are turning these positions over to Mexicans, what is happening to our legal U.S. citizens? We are turning into MEXICO! I am finally going to say what most others have been thinking —- I feel Obama is not for the U.S. and what it stands for – just look at everything he has screwed up. These illegals work for little or nothing, taking away even the not-so-good jobs from legal Americans. They have a country. They need to take a stand and take their country back. What they are doing to us is what has been done to them. They are rude in stores and restaurants – most have no manners. They stand in the middle of the isles so you have to go all the way around them, they stand outside restaurants congregating on the sidewalks so you have to step off the side to go around them – this happens consistently. I am with D. Trump for his immigration plan; but I have heard this plan promised before;the same plan, but after election it was forgotten about; in short it was a lie; where is the fence that we paid for 10 years ago? I do not think that I agree with Trump on other issues.
