Bombshell: Lisa Page Testified Obama DOJ Ordered FBI Not to Charge Hillary

Former FBI Lawyer Lisa Page testified that it was the Obama Justice Department who ordered the bureau not to charge Hillary Clinton with gross negligence for mishandling classified information on her private email server.

Texas Republican Rep. John Ratcliffe stated on social media that newly revealed transcripts from Page’s testimony show “the FBI was ordered by the Obama DOJ not to consider charging Hillary Clinton.”

“When you say advice you got from the Department, you’re making it sound like it was the Department that told you: ‘You’re not going to charge gross negligence because we’re the prosecutors and we’re telling you we’re not going to,” Ratcliffe said during the closed-door hearing.

“That’s correct,” Page replied.

“We had multiple conversations, multiple conversations with the Justice Department about charging gross negligence,” the anti-Trump lawyer admitted. “And the Justice Department’s assessment was that it was both constitutionally vague, so that they did not actually feel that they could permissibly bring that charge, and also that it had either never been done or had only been done once like 99 years ago.

“And so they did not feel that they could sustain a charge.”

Comey Changed His Mind

This new revelation from Page’s testimony shows how easily former FBI Director James Comey was manipulated by the DOJ under Barack Obama’s guidance.

You may recall, an early draft of Comey’s final statement on the Hillary Clinton email case accused the former Secretary of State of being “grossly negligent” in handling classified information.

However, the language was changed to “extremely careless” when Comey made his July 2016 announcement that they would not pursue charges against the former Secretary of State.

For all of his bluster on social media since being fired by President Trump about character and morals – Comey was easily talked out of those traits, as well as simply following the law, by representatives at the Justice Department.

The Insurance Policy

Also contained amongst the transcripts of Page’s testimony was the revelation of what the famed “insurance policy” consisted of.

Page, along with her lover, FBI agent Peter Strzok, exchanged countless anti-Trump text messages, some of which referred to him in vulgar terms and others which discussed ‘stopping’ his Presidency and implementing an “insurance policy” in case he wins.

“Page was questioned at length about that text,” Fox News reported, “and essentially confirmed this referred to the Russia investigation while explaining that officials were proceeding with caution, concerned about the implications of the case while not wanting to go at ‘total breakneck speed’ and risk burning sources as they presumed Trump wouldn’t be elected anyway.”

“[W]e don’t need to go at a total breakneck speed because so long as he doesn’t become President, there isn’t the same threat to national security, right,” Page explained.

“But if he becomes President, that totally changes the game because now he is the President of the United States,” she added.

How can anybody viewing these transcripts, along with the countless anti-Trump messages between Page and Strzok, not conclude that the FBI under Comey was essentially serving as an arm of the Clinton campaign at the behest of the Obama administration?
