Bloomberg Releases 3 Females From Gag Agreement, Begging Question ‘How Many More Women Are Out There?’

Liz Warren asked Mike Bloomberg at the Nevada debate on Wednesday if he would release any former female employees from their non-disclosure agreements.

On Friday she got her answer: three of them.

The Bloomberg campaign released this statement from the candidate on Friday afternoon, “If any of them want to be released from their NDA so that they can talk about those allegations, they should contact the company and they’ll be given a release.”

The campaign likely does not want to commit political suicide. So these women must have either been contacted prior to the statement and let the campaign know their charges would be relatively mild, or he is playing a smart but dangerous game of getting out in front of the story.

But it brings up another question: Just how many women are out there and why haven’t they been given a similar offer?

Bloomberg still has the fallout on stop and frisk to deal with. That will cost him big support from southern black voters on Super Tuesday. But he may not have been counting on that support anyway.

Now this move will start a media feeding frenzy to get to the women and be the first to get to their revelations. However, only showing a little bit of thigh to the press only whets their appetite for more.
